You can still get the Grace Ashcroft Outfit in Fortnite by buying Resident Evil Requiem on the Epic Games Store. Epic’s offer is not limited to preorders: its terms cover any edition purchased from October 29, 2025, at 6 p.m. ET, and say the offer lasts while the game remains available for sale on that store. Buying the game on another platform does not qualify.
What the offer includes—and who qualifies
The reward is the Grace Ashcroft Outfit, a Fortnite cosmetic. Epic says it became available starting February 27, 2026, at midnight ET. The game launched that day, so the original “pre-order” framing is now outdated: Epic’s FAQ and support page say purchases as well as pre-purchases qualify.

To qualify, purchase any edition of Resident Evil Requiem through the Epic Games Store on or after October 29, 2025, at 6 p.m. ET. Epic says the offer continues for as long as the game remains available for sale on its store. That is the stated duration of the purchase offer; the Fortnite Shop’s separate listing for the outfit ran from February 28, 2026, at 7 p.m. ET through March 7, 2026, at 6:59 p.m. ET. Epic says the outfit may return to the shop in the future.

How to claim the outfit
- Use the Epic account you use for Fortnite. Purchase Resident Evil Requiem on the Epic Games Store with that account. Epic’s offer is tied to the Epic storefront, not simply to owning the game on a supported gaming platform.
- Wait for the reward grant. Epic says the outfit is granted on or after February 27, 2026, at midnight ET. Check the Fortnite Locker while signed in to the matching Epic account.
- For another platform’s Locker, link accounts. Epic says the outfit can appear on other platforms if you sign in to Fortnite with your Epic account on PC or mobile, or connect your console account to your Epic account.
Epic’s FAQ states: “The Grace Ashcroft Outfit is an in-game cosmetic that you can use in Fortnite starting from February 27, 2026 at 12am ET.” Read Epic’s Resident Evil Requiem FAQ.
Which stores qualify?
The game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, but platform availability and reward eligibility are different questions. Epic specifies an Epic Games Store purchase for this Fortnite reward. Epic’s FAQ and support page do not establish that purchases from Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox, Nintendo, Amazon, or another retailer qualify.

Capcom lists Resident Evil Requiem for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. The game is the ninth main installment in the Resident Evil series and launched February 27, 2026. Capcom also reported 174 million cumulative series game sales as of June 30, 2025; that is a franchise-wide figure, not Requiem sales. Capcom’s September 16, 2025 release announcement.
What if you already own the outfit or refund the game?
- You already own the Grace Ashcroft Outfit: Epic says you receive 1,500 V-Bucks instead when you buy the game through Epic. Its support page also says the same compensation applies when someone gifts you the game through the Epic Store and you already own the outfit.
- You refund the Epic Store purchase: Epic says the outfit is removed if it was obtained through that purchase.
Don’t confuse the Fortnite reward with the preorder costume
Capcom France’s January 16, 2026 Showcase summary described a separate in-game “Apocalypse” costume for Grace as a preorder bonus. It also said the Deluxe Edition includes the same base game as Standard plus a content pack. The Apocalypse costume is not the Fortnite Grace Ashcroft Outfit, and the Fortnite reward follows Epic’s storefront purchase terms rather than Capcom’s preorder-bonus description. - If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
