Protect the YouTube archive separately from the live feed
A stream staying live and YouTube keeping an archive are separate concerns. YouTube Help says live streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, while streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. If retaining a replay matters, plan around sessions shorter than 12 hours and verify the current YouTube guidance for your channel. Restream also cautions that YouTube may not archive streams of 12 hours or longer. A loop that runs continuously is not, by itself, an archive strategy; keep source episode files and decide how the channel will preserve or publish them independently.
Restream’s prerecorded scheduling is not the same as guaranteed 24/7 playback
Restream documents prerecorded playlist scheduling and says a playlist can be updated every 24 hours. Its article also describes looping a prerecorded video up to 10 times, for a stated maximum 40-hour stream. These are vendor-described features, not a promise of uninterrupted 24/7 operation. That distinction matters if your channel needs a true unattended loop rather than a scheduled block that must be refreshed or restarted.

Copyright, reused episodes, and channel planning
Before looping a back catalogue, confirm you have the rights to the full content, including music, clips, guest contributions, and any third-party material. Make the stream useful as a channel experience: identify that it is a continuous feed, keep episode titles and descriptions accurate, and decide whether your schedule should rotate episodes or play a defined playlist.
