Riftbound: Radiance is scheduled to release on October 23, 2026, in English, French and Chinese. Pre-Rift sealed events begin October 16. The set is music-themed, with League universe groups represented through K/DA Special cards, Heartsteel Overnumbers and music-inspired alternate-art Runes. Packs are randomized: Riot says no pack, box or case guarantees an Ultimate Rare, whose average appearance across the entire print run is approximately 0.025%.
This guide explains every Radiance rarity slot, what a booster contains, which products offer fixed or randomized contents, how the Evelynn versus Seraphine Showdown Decks work, and how to prepare for a local Pre-Rift.

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Booster packs: randomized cards for expanding a collection and finding alternate treatments.
- Showdown Decks: fixed, ready-to-play products built around Evelynn and Seraphine.
- Pre-Rift sealed play: a local event in which the organizer supplies a limited Radiance pool for deckbuilding and games.
Riot’s announcement is dated September 25, 2026 and was updated October 5, with a further update announced for October 16. Release timing, language availability and event details are therefore worth rechecking close to launch.
What rarities are in Radiance?
Radiance uses several rarity and treatment labels. A normal booster can contain ordinary Commons, Uncommons, Rares and Epics, while higher-visibility slots can produce Alt Art, Special Alt, Overnumber or Ultimate Rare cards. Tokens and Runes occupy a separate slot, and some Runes have alternate art.
Radiance rarity terms
- Common and Uncommon: the regular foundation of the set and the cards most frequently found in their dedicated slots.
- Rare and Epic: higher-rarity cards that can appear in the foil slot, the dedicated Rare-or-Epic slot, and the flexible showcase slot.
- Alt Art: an alternate-art treatment available in the flexible slot.
- Special Alt: a rarer alternate treatment. Riot says Special Alt cards appear at roughly the same frequency as Alt Art cards.
- Overnumber: a numbered showcase treatment. Radiance includes Overnumber variants for nine new Legends and also features Heartsteel Overnumbers.
- Ultimate Rare: the chase treatment with the lowest stated frequency. It can appear only in the flexible showcase slot, and a pack can contain at most one Ultimate Rare.
The set also includes artist signatures on some of the nine new Legends’ Overnumber variants. Riot has not published a separate pack rate for signatures or for each individual alternate treatment, so do not assign unsourced odds to them.
How rare is the Radiance Ultimate Rare?
Riot’s Radiance Overview states: “On average across the entire Radiance print run, an Ultimate Rare appears in approximately 0.025% of booster packs.” That is a print-run average supplied by Riot Games in 2026, not a guarantee for a particular pack, display or case.

Note: This device is not compatible with Linux.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (5-in-1, 4K HDMI), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
The same announcement explicitly says: “There is no guaranteed Ultimate Rare in any pack, box, or case.” Manufacturing randomizes pack contents, so opening several products can produce no Ultimate Rare, while another product can contain one. The published percentage also does not establish the chance of a particular card, the distribution between retailers or the odds for a future print run.
What the statistic does—and does not—tell you
- It describes the average share of packs across the whole Radiance print run.
- It does not promise an Ultimate Rare in any purchase quantity.
- It does not provide separate odds for boxes, cases, stores, languages or individual card names.
- It should not be used as an investment or expected-value calculation; Riot has not supplied market prices or a return forecast.
What comes in a Radiance booster pack?
Each Radiance booster has 14 cards plus an informational insert. Riot lists the collation as follows:
| Slot | Contents |
|---|---|
| 7 cards | Commons |
| 3 cards | Uncommons |
| 1 foil slot | Common, Uncommon, Rare or Epic |
| 1 rarity slot | Rare or Epic |
| 1 flexible showcase slot | Rare, Epic, Alt Art, Special Alt, Overnumber or Ultimate Rare |
| 1 utility slot | Token, Rune or Alt Art Rune |
| 1 insert | Informational material |
The flexible slot is the pack’s only possible Ultimate Rare location, and Riot says a pack can contain no more than one Ultimate Rare. Because every slot is randomized during manufacturing, the contents of one pack do not establish what another pack, display or case must contain.
Are K/DA and Heartsteel in Radiance?
Yes, Radiance includes those names as League of Legends universe music-themed card treatments. Riot specifically identifies K/DA Special cards and Heartsteel Overnumbers, alongside musically inspired Alt Art Runes. The set is presented as featuring bands from the League universe.

- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)

That wording matters: the cited Riot announcements describe in-universe music groups and card art, not a collaboration with real-world musicians, a guest artist performance or a licensed soundtrack release. Unless Riot publishes a separate announcement, treat Radiance as a League-universe music theme rather than a real-world artist crossover.
Radiance products and what each is for
Riot documents several products. Prices below come from Riot’s drawing FAQ and include the qualification that shipping and handling are additional; they are not a promise of current retailer pricing.
| Product | Contents | Best fit | Riot drawing price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Radiance Booster Display | 24 booster packs, 14 cards per pack; the FAQ describes a 180-card pool with 66 Showcase cards | Opening randomized cards and building a broader collection | $119.99 / €127.99, plus shipping and handling |
| Evelynn vs. Seraphine Showdown Decks | Two 56-card preconstructed decks, two paper playmats and a rulebook | Predictable contents and immediate head-to-head play | $34.99 / €36.99, plus shipping and handling |
| Vault | Storage box, six Radiance booster packs, foil tokens and a 36-Rune set | Storage and a compact mix of sealed product and accessories | Not stated in the cited sources |
| Pre-Rift kit | Five Radiance boosters, one seeded champion pack themed around one of nine new Legends, and a Heimerdinger, Academy Instructor promo | Local sealed-event play | Not stated in the cited sources |
The drawing FAQ describes a Riot Merch Store process in which customers enter during a five-day window; selected accounts receive a purchase link by email and have 24 hours to finish the purchase. That explains how the drawing product was handled, not whether a drawing is currently open or whether stock exists at any particular retailer. Confirm seller, language, product identity and availability before ordering.

How a Radiance Pre-Rift sealed event works
A Pre-Rift is a local, casual sealed event. You open the supplied Radiance cards, build a legal deck from that pool and play games during the store’s scheduled rounds. The organizer supplies the event materials described below.
What your kit contains
- Five Radiance booster packs.
- One seeded champion pack themed around one of the set’s nine new Legends.
- A Heimerdinger, Academy Instructor promo card. This promo cannot be included in your Sealed deck.
Deckbuilding rules
- Your Main Deck must contain at least 25 cards.
- You may use cards and Runes from up to three domains.
- Use only cards opened or supplied for the event; do not add cards from your outside collection.
- You may play as many copies of a card as you open, even if that exceeds the normal three-copy constructed limit.
- The organizer provides additional Runes. Tokens can be represented with convenient substitutes.
- You may change your deck between games and rounds while following the organizer’s event procedure.
Riot’s practical build advice
These are recommendations, not hard construction laws. Riot says most decks want at least 15 Units, including about five two-Energy Units for early plays. Give the remaining Units a spread of costs rather than filling the deck with only expensive threats, then use non-Unit cards to support the plan your pool actually offers.
- Sort the opened cards by domain, card type and Energy cost.
- Identify the strongest one- to three-domain plan instead of trying to include every powerful card.
- Start with roughly 15 or more Units, prioritizing early plays and a sensible cost curve.
- Add Runes and other non-Unit cards that advance the chosen plan or answer opposing threats.
- Check that the final Main Deck has at least 25 cards and that every included card came from the event pool.
- After a game, adjust for what you saw while staying within the event’s sealed-card rules.
Radiance mechanics to know before playing
Deploy
Deploy lets you play the Gear only to a Battlefield. It grants its benefits there and is killed when an opponent holds that Battlefield. The location restriction is part of the ability, so Deploy Gear is not a general-purpose play from any zone.

Show Off asks you to reveal a qualifying card from your hand or board to unlock a new effect on the card you played. During a Pre-Rift, keep qualifying cards visible only as long as the relevant effect requires and follow the card’s own wording.
Best Value
- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.
- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.
- HD Display: Connect to the HDMI port to stream or mirror content to an external monitor in resolutions of up to 4K@30Hz. Note: The USB-C ports do not support video output.
- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
Disarm
Disarm reduces an enemy Unit’s Might as you attack. Riot says each instance makes the reduction stronger, so multiple Disarm effects can materially change combat math.
Rules clarifications from the Pre-Rift guide
- Equipment text is active only while the card is equipped. If an effect converts that Equipment into a Unit, it does not inherit the Equipment text.
- Encore requires choosing two different options; selecting the same option twice is not legal.
Those clarifications address the interactions named in Riot’s guide. For other card-specific questions, use the event judge or the extended rules FAQ when Riot publishes it.
A collector’s checklist for launch
- Confirm the October 23 release date and the language edition you want.
- For a Pre-Rift, verify the store’s October 16–22 schedule, registration rules and supplied materials.
- Decide whether you prefer randomized boosters, fixed Showdown Decks or limited sealed play.
- Budget with the understanding that the 0.025% Ultimate Rare figure is a print-run average, not a purchase guarantee.
- Inspect any product listing for seller, language, pack count and sealed condition before paying.
- Keep the Heimerdinger, Academy Instructor promo separate from your Pre-Rift deck.
- Use the organizer’s Runes and token substitutes rather than adding outside cards.
