No: Ripple Island is not this week’s Console Archives release. Nintendo lists RippleIsland Kyle and Cal’s Restaurant as a separate SUNSOFT game for Nintendo Switch 2, released digitally on November 27, 2025. HAMSTER’s Console Archives page lists Console Archives Chack’n Pop as available October 1, 2026.

Which game is Ripple Island?

RippleIsland Kyle and Cal’s Restaurant is a cooperative cooking action game set on Ripple Island. King Dotella calls a cooking tournament, and players work with animal helpers to gather ingredients—by growing vegetables, catching fish and collecting eggs—then prepare and serve dishes. Nintendo identifies SUNSOFT as the game’s developer and publisher. Nintendo’s US product listing describes the game and its digital edition.

The US listing gives an estimated download size of 1.9 GB for Nintendo Switch 2 and 3.9 GB for Nintendo Switch. These are Nintendo’s estimates, not measurements of installed size; the figures are specific to that US listing.

How many people can play?

Nintendo’s US store listing specifies one to four players on one system and one to sixteen players online. It describes a solo mode, where one player runs the operation, as well as cooperative stages in which players divide responsibilities. These player counts come from the US listing and should not be assumed to apply identically to every regional store page.

What is this week’s Console Archives game?

HAMSTER’s official Console Archives page lists Console Archives Chack’n Pop as available October 1, 2026; the page’s accompanying announcement is also dated October 1. That listing, checked October 7, 2026, identifies the current release shown there—not Ripple Island. The two names refer to different games and publishers, so RippleIsland Kyle and Cal’s Restaurant should not be described as a Console Archives release.
