The Danger Egg has 12 pets across five rarity tiers. Its published chances are 35% Common, 25% Uncommon, 20% Rare, 16% Ultra-Rare and 4% Legendary. Those are tier chances—not individual odds for each pet.
What pets are in the Danger Egg, and what are the rarity chances?
Adopt Me!’s official Danger Egg release notes, published June 8, 2023, list these pets and rarity-tier chances:
| Rarity | Chance | Pets |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 35% | Mosquito, Piranha, Liger |
| Uncommon | 25% | Angler Fish, Borhyaena Gigantica |
| Rare | 20% | Poison Dart Frog, Hippo |
| Ultra-Rare | 16% | Puffer Fish, Lammergeier, Blue Ringed Octopus |
| Legendary | 4% | Spinosaurus, Owlbear |
What do the percentages mean?
Each percentage is the published chance of hatching a pet from that rarity tier. The release notes do not give a separate probability for each pet within a tier. In particular, 4% is the chance for a Legendary-tier result; it is not a published 4% chance for Spinosaurus or for Owlbear individually.
When was the Danger Egg available?
The Danger Egg launched on June 8, 2023, and cost 750 in-game Bucks at the Gumball Machine, according to the official release notes. The official Urban Egg update, dated August 24, 2023, says Urban Egg replaced Danger Egg in the Nursery. These release notes establish the historical Nursery change, but do not establish current trading availability or rules.
