What should you do if you downloaded or ran a Roblox exploit?
If you downloaded a suspicious Roblox exploit, stop interacting with the offer and avoid further Roblox logins on the affected device until the device has been checked.
- Do not run the file again. Do not paste additional code, install the requested extension, disable security software, or continue chatting with the uploader.
- Use a trusted device for account security. Change the Roblox password and review available account-security settings from an official Roblox surface. Never enter replacement credentials into the suspicious site.
- Review account activity. Look for unfamiliar changes, messages, purchases, or other signs of unauthorized access, and secure connected accounts if the same password was reused elsewhere.
- Check the affected device. Use current security software or qualified technical support to inspect and clean the device. These device-cleanup steps are general defensive advice; Roblox’s cited guidance establishes the malware risk but does not prescribe one universal cleanup procedure.
