Roblox Rivals Weapons Tier List (July 2025)

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

For the July 25, 2025 community snapshot, the S-tier weapons are Assault Rifle, Sniper, Burst Rifle, Paintball Gun, Katana and Scythe. This is an editorial opinion, not an official Roblox ranking; Rivals has no developer-published S/A/B tier list or verifiable weapon win-rate table.

What “best” means in Roblox Rivals

A weapon’s practical value depends on the job you need it to do. The July 2025 ranking weighs competitive strength, ease of use, range control, damage output and overall value. The accompanying guide discussion favors fast time-to-kill, dependable mid-range accuracy and weapons that remain reliable while strafing, jumping or peeking from cover. Those criteria explain why a mechanically difficult weapon can rank highly while still being a poor fit for a new player.

Rivals Roblox WikiHub notes that “Rivals does not ship an official S/A/B meta tier list — most tier pages on the web are opinions.” It also warns that balance shifts with updates and that “no source publishes verifiable per-weapon win rates” (Rivals Roblox WikiHub tier-list reference). Treat the list below as a dated decision aid, not a permanent competitive truth.

TechWiser’s page, dated July 25, 2025, labels its ranking subjective and based on the writer’s opinion (TechWiser weapon tier list). The complete placements reported there are:

Why the S-tier weapons stand out

Assault Rifle: reliable mid-range pressure

TechWiser’s 2025 table reports 13–3 damage, a 1.25× critical multiplier, a 0.11-second cooldown and a 10% movement-speed penalty. Those figures are guide values reproduced from that table, not official Roblox telemetry. Its appeal is consistency: it can contest mid-range lanes while you strafe, peek and finish weakened opponents without relying on a single perfect shot.

Sniper: highest precision payoff

The same table reports 50 damage, a 3.00× critical multiplier, a 1.50-second cooldown and a 15% movement-speed penalty. It rewards players who can hold angles and land critical hits, but the slow firing cycle and movement penalty make missed shots expensive. It is a precision choice rather than a universally easy weapon.

  • 1000Hz Polling Rate on PC: Experience ultra-responsive gaming with a 1000Hz polling rate on PC, available through both wired and 2.4G wireless connections. This ensures instantaneous input registration, reducing lag and optimizing your performance for the most competitive gameplay.
  • GameSir Nexus App: The G7 Pro is compatible with the upgraded GameSir Nexus app, which brings a significant upgrade over the original. It introduces powerful new features such as gyro settings, stick curve adjustments, and button-to-mouse mapping, giving you deeper customization and more control than ever before.

Burst Rifle: controlled burst damage

TechWiser lists 20–5 damage, a 1.25× critical multiplier, a 0.06-second cooldown and a 10% movement-speed penalty. It fires a three-shot burst with a reported 0.07-second burst delay. The burst pattern can delete targets quickly when aimed well, while missed bursts reduce its reliability in frantic close-range fights.

Paintball Gun: S-tier placement without published telemetry

Paintball Gun appears in S tier in the July snapshot, but the cited table does not provide a damage, critical-multiplier or cooldown figure for it. Its placement should therefore be read as an editorial assessment, not as proof of a specific numerical advantage.

  • Customizable experience: Includes 2 custom backbuttons that allow users to eliminate false triggers and improve their gaming experience.
  • Impressive gameplay: Provides a pulsating vibration trigger and an asymmetric vibration grip motor for intense tactile feedback.

Katana: melee pressure with a defensive option

Reported guide values are 45 damage, a 1.50× critical multiplier, a 0.70-second cooldown and normal movement speed. The table gives reach 6, a four-second deflect cooldown and one-second deflect duration. Katana is strongest when you can close distance and time the deflect; open sightlines and opponents who maintain range reduce its value.

Scythe: mobility-oriented melee

TechWiser reports 35 damage, a 0.70-second cooldown and normal movement speed, with reach 6 and a four-second dash cooldown. The dash creates engage and escape opportunities, making Scythe attractive for aggressive movement. It still depends on getting into melee range safely.

Choosing a weapon by role

For a flexible 1v1 loadout

Start with Assault Rifle if you want the least specialized S-tier option. Sniper suits players who win by holding angles and landing critical hits. Burst Rifle is a middle ground for accurate players who prefer short, controlled firing sequences. Katana or Scythe fits a deliberate close-range plan rather than a general-purpose pick.

For 2v2 team fights

Prioritize complementary jobs. One player can apply steady mid-range pressure with Assault Rifle or Burst Rifle while a teammate uses Sniper to punish exposed angles. Katana and Scythe can collapse on distracted targets, but they need coordinated entries. A weapon’s tier does not replace communication, crossfire and cover.

For close-range pressure

Katana and Scythe are the S-tier melee choices in this snapshot. Shotgun and Flame Thrower are A-tier alternatives for players who want close-range damage without committing to melee reach. Their placement is lower than the S-tier melee weapons in the cited list, but a favorable map or matchup can make either the better practical choice.

For utility rather than eliminations

Medkit, Molotov and Grenade are A-tier utility entries. Riot Shield, War Horn, Satchel, Jump Pad, Smoke Grenade and Flashbang appear lower in the table, reflecting the ranking’s overall combat assessment rather than a claim that they have no tactical use. Choose utility when your team’s plan benefits from healing, area denial, movement or disruption.

Are the listed damage and cooldown numbers official?

No. The Assault Rifle, Sniper, Burst Rifle, Katana and Scythe figures above are reproduced as reported in TechWiser’s 2025 guide. Roblox and the Rivals developers have not published an official S/A/B meta ranking or a verifiable per-weapon win-rate dataset in the cited references. Values can also change when the game is updated, so do not treat a July 2025 number as a current guarantee.

Which weapon should you buy or use?

  1. Pick the role first. Decide whether you need mid-range consistency, precision, burst damage, melee mobility or utility.
  2. Match the weapon to your movement. Sniper and Burst Rifle reward deliberate aim; Assault Rifle is more forgiving while strafing; Katana and Scythe require safe closes and timing.
  3. Test the weapon in your normal mode. A tier placement cannot account for your map rotation, ping, aim style or teammate coordination.
  4. Recheck after balance updates. The July 2025 list is date-stamped because weapon balance changes over time.

If your results contradict the list, trust repeatable performance in your own matches. Community consensus and individual skill can legitimately disagree with a fixed tier placement.

Bottom line on the July 2025 list

Assault Rifle is the safest all-purpose recommendation from this snapshot; Sniper and Burst Rifle reward precision, while Katana and Scythe serve aggressive melee specialists. Paintball Gun completes the S-tier group, but the available source does not publish comparable numerical details for it. Use the ranking as a dated starting point, then adjust for role, map and your own execution rather than treating any tier as official.
