The ROG Bulwark Dock DG310 is a six-in-one USB-C dock for handheld gaming PCs and computers. ASUS lists one HDMI 2.1 output, three 5Gbps USB-A ports, Gigabit Ethernet and USB-C Power Delivery input. It can pass up to 80W to a handheld when paired with a 100W-or-higher USB-C PD charger, but ASUS says no charger is included.
What the ROG Bulwark Dock DG310 includes
The dock connects to a handheld or computer through a permanently attached 60cm USB-C cable with a 90-degree connector. That angled plug is intended to reduce strain and keep the cable routed beside a handheld rather than directly underneath it.

USB-A power differences
Two of the USB-A ports are rated at 5V/0.9A. The third is rated at 5V/1.5A, giving it more available current for a power-hungry accessory. All three ports remain 5Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 1 connections; the higher-current port is not a faster data port.
Can the DG310 run 4K at 144Hz?
ASUS specifies HDMI output up to 4K (3840×2160) at 144Hz, or 8K (7680×4320) at 30Hz. HDR, variable refresh rate (VRR) and automatic low-latency mode (ALLM) are also listed features. These are maximum interface capabilities, not a guarantee that every handheld can render games at those settings.

The actual mode is limited by three links in the chain: the handheld or computer’s video output, the HDMI cable, and the TV or monitor. A device that exposes a lower DisplayPort-over-USB-C mode will not reach 4K/144Hz through the dock, even if the display and dock support it. Use a certified HDMI 2.1 cable for a 4K/144Hz connection and check the host’s video-output specifications if the display falls back to a lower refresh rate.
Power requirements and charging
The DG310 accepts up to 100W over USB-C PD and can deliver up to 80W to the connected host. ASUS says a 100W-or-higher USB-C PD charger is required to obtain the full 80W passthrough. The charger is not supplied in the box, so it must be purchased separately or taken from an existing setup.

- Connect a 100W-or-higher USB-C PD charger to the dock’s USB-C power-input port.
- Plug the dock’s fixed 60cm host cable into the handheld’s USB-C port.
- Connect HDMI, Ethernet and USB accessories as required.
- Verify the handheld reports the expected charging wattage; the host, cable and charger can reduce the delivered power.
“A wired connection will always offer lower latency and be more reliable than even the best wireless setup,” ASUS says. That makes the Ethernet port particularly relevant for online play, although network performance still depends on the router, internet connection and game server.
Compatibility: ROG Xbox Ally and other devices
The stand is shaped for the ROG Xbox Ally (2025), ROG Xbox Ally X (2025) and ROG Xbox Ally X20 (2026). Other handhelds and computers can use the dock through the attached cable if their USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB Power Delivery.

ASUS lists support without driver installation on Windows 11 or later, macOS 12.3 or later, and Android 14 or later. A USB-C port that provides data only, without DisplayPort Alt Mode, will not drive the HDMI output. Likewise, charging behavior depends on the host’s own USB-PD implementation.
ROG Xbox Ally-specific features
With a ROG Xbox Ally connected to a TV, the dock’s optimization is designed to trigger Game Mode automatically. ASUS also describes one-touch Bluetooth pairing for controllers, keyboards, headsets and other peripherals. Those conveniences are tied to the ROG Xbox Ally experience; they do not turn the dock into a universal Bluetooth hub for every USB-C device.

External-display and expansion limits
There is one HDMI output, so the DG310 supports one external display at a time. It cannot run a dual-monitor arrangement, and there is no second HDMI or DisplayPort connector for extending to another screen. The three USB-A ports, Ethernet and single display output are intended as a compact living-room or desk setup rather than a multi-monitor workstation.

The dock measures 181.6 × 86.6 × 31.6 mm and weighs approximately 262 ±10 g, according to ASUS support information. Leave enough clearance around the stand and handheld for ventilation; the dock’s fit is optimized around the named ROG Xbox Ally models, while thicker cases or differently shaped handhelds may not sit as intended.

Four RGB lighting modes are available: Static, Breathing, Color Cycle and Rainbow. Pressing the control button twice turns the lighting off.
Availability and what is known about price
ASUS has not published one universal price in the official material. Regional pages show “coming soon” or “where to buy” states, so the price, stock and release timing depend on market. Treat retailer listings as region-specific rather than assuming a global launch price.
