That price is not verified as available today. The roundup also listed chargers, a dock, cases, a protective skin and a headset; use those figures as a dated snapshot, not current shopping prices.

Which accessory makes sense for your setup?
Choose a charger around the whole power chain
The 65W MENEEA listing was the roundup’s headline discount. HotHardware described 65W as the included-charger class for these Ally systems. It also cautioned that 65W may not deliver a docked setup’s “full-speed experience,” and listed the 140W Baseus charger as a higher-power option. Treat that as HotHardware’s guidance, not an independent performance test: check the handheld, dock and connected-device requirements together before buying. A charger’s advertised wattage alone does not guarantee a particular setup’s charging behavior.

Pick a dock for its ports and display output
HotHardware described the JSAUX 6-in-1 dock as offering USB-C power pass-through, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI 2.0 and two USB-A ports rated at 5 Gbps, with up to 100W USB-PD pass-through. Its power adapter is separate, so account for that when comparing total cost. The stated maximum pass-through is a dock specification, not a promise that every charger or connected configuration will deliver that amount to the handheld.
Xbox Wire also identifies official Ally-family docking options. Its 100W Gaming Charger Dock connects to a large display over HDMI and has dual USB-A ports; the Bulwark Dock is described as a 7-in-1 design. Compare the ports you will actually use, display needs, charging arrangement and whether your case affects the physical fit. The available product descriptions do not establish that every dock fits every protective case. See Xbox Wire’s October 2025 accessory guide.

Match protection to the exact Ally model
ASUS describes its ROG Xbox Ally (2-in-1) Premium Case as a hard-shell case with a water-repellent exterior and fleece lining. Its removable pouch is intended for a 65W adapter; a strap stores an SD card and can also serve as a stand. Xbox Wire’s guide names the official case for both Xbox Ally and Ally X. The ASUS Canada page displayed CAD $49.99 against CAD $99.99 when accessed October 4, 2026; this is a Canada-specific, time-sensitive listing and does not validate the older U.S. Amazon offers. Check the page for current local availability and terms: ASUS ROG Canada Premium Case.

That fit warning applies to the roundup’s descriptions, not every case on the market. Confirm the manufacturer’s stated dimensions and model compatibility before ordering.

Use microSD for expandable game storage
Xbox Wire names SanDisk microSD cards for Xbox Ally and Ally X, with capacities up to 2TB. Its claim of “up to 50 games” depends on game sizes, so treat it as a best-case vendor estimate rather than a fixed capacity outcome. Choose capacity based on the games you intend to keep installed, and verify the card’s compatibility and current terms on the relevant product listing. Xbox Wire also mentions Seagate FireCuda and WD_Black SSD products, but its guide alone does not establish installation steps or compatibility for a particular internal drive; check the handheld and drive specifications before considering an internal upgrade. See the accessory guide and Xbox Wire’s storage details.
Keep the skin and headset optional
The NINKI skin in the roundup adds a pop-out kickstand, while the ROG Pelta is a headset option. Neither is a prerequisite for using the handheld; consider them only if the added stand or audio gear suits how you play.

What should you verify before buying now?
- Model fit: Confirm whether the listing names the original ROG Ally, Xbox Ally, Ally X or more than one model. Similar names do not guarantee secure case fit.
- Power needs: Check the handheld and dock requirements, charger output and any load from connected peripherals. Do not assume the historical 65W or 140W offers are still available.
- Dock contents: Confirm whether the power adapter is included, and check the exact ports and display output you need.
- Coupon and seller: Recheck coupon eligibility, stock, shipping, seller and return terms on the retailer’s live listing. The 2025 coupon prices and discounts are snapshots.
- Local price: Compare offers in your own market; the Canadian ASUS case price is separate from the U.S. Amazon prices in HotHardware’s roundup.
How do the historical offers compare with official accessory pricing?
Xbox Wire gave estimated retail prices (ERP) of $69.99 for the official ROG Xbox Ally Premium Case and $99.99 for the ROG 100W Gaming Charger Dock in its 2025 guide. ERP is the publisher’s estimate, not a current local retail price. The ASUS Canada page’s dated CAD display is a separate market observation, not a direct comparison to those U.S.-dollar estimates.
