How to check a PS3 game’s RPCS3 compatibility
- Open the RPCS3 Compatibility List.
- Search for the game by title or PS3 game ID.
- Read the compatibility status and, if shown, the entry’s update date.
- Open the linked title to view its wiki page, or open the game ID link to view its forum thread. These pages can provide game-specific information beyond the list’s summary.
- Check the entry again when you need a current answer. RPCS3 says the list changes frequently.
What the RPCS3 compatibility statuses mean
RPCS3 defines five categories. They describe how far a game gets and whether it can be completed, as well as performance and glitches.

How to interpret a compatibility result
A status is a summary of RPCS3’s reported testing, not a guarantee that the game will behave identically on every computer or configuration. In particular, “Playable” means the game can be completed with playable performance and without game-breaking glitches; it does not describe every setting, update, or individual setup.
For a more useful picture, open the game-specific wiki page or forum thread and look for details about completion, performance, glitches, and startup or menu progress. If you are comparing reports, consider those same factors rather than relying on the category alone.

Finding a specific game’s status
Search using the title or PS3 game ID. If a title is listed under a different name than you expect, its game ID provides another way to find the entry. RPCS3 links titles to wiki pages and game IDs to forum threads, giving you a route from the short status to more specific information.
Because the list is subject to frequent changes, a status found earlier may no longer be current. Use the live listing when deciding whether a game works in RPCS3.
