Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteYes, complete desktop PCs with GeForce RTX 5090 graphics are listed for purchase in the US. The most credible entry point found on August 16, 2026, was roughly $5,800–$6,500 for a system with 64GB of memory and several terabytes of storage. Corsair showed direct-cart configurations, while Best Buy exposed a broad mix of manufacturer and marketplace listings.
“Available” still needs qualification: retailer search pages are not proof of nationwide stock, pickup depends on your ZIP code, and build-to-order systems may show a future ship date. Prices, sellers and delivery promises can change between research and checkout.

Where to look first
Manufacturer-direct stores
Corsair is the clearest source with visible RTX 5090 configurations and prices. Also check Alienware/Dell, MAINGEAR, CyberPowerPC, iBUYPOWER, Origin PC and Skytech. Boutique pages such as MAINGEAR MG-1 Champion and MAINGEAR Retro98 5090 can suit buyers who value chassis design, assembly and support, but quote a price or delivery date only when the live page provides it.
Authorized retailers
Best Buy, Micro Center, Newegg and selected Walmart listings can add financing, shipping or pickup. On Walmart and marketplace pages, identify the actual seller and warranty provider before paying. Best Buy’s pickup and “Ready today” controls are useful, but availability is store-specific: Best Buy pickup and sale filters.
Local pickup
Micro Center has been an important source for high-end GPU systems, but historical availability is not current inventory. Select the exact store and confirm the item is reserved before travelling. Retailer availability context has been reported by TechRadar.

Why a prebuilt can make financial sense
NVIDIA lists the RTX 5090 Founders Edition at a $1,999 MSRP and specifies 32GB of GDDR7: NVIDIA RTX 5090 specifications. Recent reporting has put some standalone cards around $4,000 or more, including an order cancelled and repriced after a supplier increase: Tom’s Hardware.
Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteWindows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallThat makes a complete $5,800–$6,000 computer comparatively rational: the price also covers the processor, motherboard, RAM, SSD, power supply, cooling, case, Windows, assembly and a system warranty. Hardware coverage has documented cases where a complete RTX 5090 PC approached the price of the card alone, such as this $3,599 example: Tom’s Hardware price comparison.
The comparison is not automatic. A weak CPU, 16GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, unknown power supply, inadequate cooling or a poor warranty can erase the value of the bundle.

What specifications to verify
Graphics card
- The specification must say GeForce RTX 5090 desktop and 32GB GDDR7.
- Exclude RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, RTX 5080, RTX PRO 5000/6000 and listings that only say “RTX graphics.”
Processor and memory
For gaming, Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Ryzen 9 9950X3D and Core Ultra 9 285K are sensible pairings. Creators may prefer a higher-core workstation chip, but that premium is difficult to justify for gaming alone. Treat 32GB as the minimum sensible starting point and 64GB as the preferred target at this price. Choose 96GB or 128GB for a specific video, AI, simulation or heavily modded workload.
Storage
Require at least a 2TB NVMe SSD; 4TB or more is preferable at flagship prices. Confirm whether the quoted capacity is one drive or several smaller drives.
Recommended Free Tools
Power, cooling and case
- Confirm wattage for the exact RTX 5090 board and CPU rather than relying on a universal number.
- Look for a reputable PSU with the GPU’s native modern connector and an appropriate efficiency rating.
- Prefer 360mm liquid cooling or a genuinely high-end air cooler, with clear intake and exhaust paths.
- Check GPU clearance, case airflow, noise testing and whether proprietary parts limit future upgrades.
Use this buying checklist before payment
- Open the exact product specification and confirm desktop RTX 5090, 32GB GDDR7.
- Record the CPU, RAM speed and capacity, SSD model or capacity, motherboard and PSU brand.
- Identify whether the seller is the manufacturer, the retailer itself or a marketplace vendor.
- Distinguish “in stock,” “orderable,” “build-to-order” and “search result only.”
- Enter your ZIP code or store selection to verify shipping or pickup.
- Review the final cart total, tax, shipping, financing cost and extended-warranty charges.
- Read the dead-on-arrival policy, return window, restocking fee, return-shipping responsibility and RMA process.
A retailer domain does not guarantee retailer fulfillment. Confirm that the machine is new rather than refurbished or open-box, that the warranty is named, and that an “upgraded” system identifies both original and replacement parts.

Who should buy an RTX 5090 PC?
- 4K high-refresh gamers who use demanding ray tracing or path tracing.
- Streamers and creators who benefit from a 32GB frame buffer.
- AI, rendering and simulation users with workloads that exceed lower-tier GPU memory.
Who should skip it?
Choose an RTX 5080 or lower-tier system if you mainly play at 1440p, use a standard-refresh display, do not run demanding creator workloads, or would need to sacrifice the CPU, memory, storage and power supply to afford the 5090. The right choice depends on the workload and monitor, not the flagship label.
Bottom line
The strongest current target is a reputable, orderable RTX 5090 desktop around $5,800–$6,500 with 64GB RAM, at least 2TB of NVMe storage, a strong gaming CPU and transparent PSU and cooling details. Corsair’s $5,999.99 Vengeance i5200 and Best Buy’s $5,799.99 CyberPowerPC example establish useful price anchors. Paying $7,500 or more should buy a clearly better CPU, storage, cooling, support or warranty—not merely extra lighting or workstation parts you will not use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is an RTX 5090 gaming PC actually in stock nationwide?
