Jagex described a deeper preview as forthcoming; the roundup presents the update as a plan, not as an already-shipped release.

Which should you play?
If you want to judge a defined, officially described direction, Reignited is the only option in this comparison for which the cited Jagex material gives specific details. Whether those changes suit you depends on what you want from RuneScape: a refreshed early journey, more in-game guidance, integrated community plugins, and the removal of the named systems may appeal to you—or may not.

Reignited timing and temporary access
Jagex’s official page advertises full Reignited access without membership from December 2 through December 12, 2026. That is a time-limited promotion, not evidence of the usual access arrangement.
