RuneScape: Dragonwilds has an official map built into the game: open the MAP tab or press M on PC. It reveals terrain as you explore, tracks quests, and lets you place markers or ping locations for other players. For an external Ashenfall reference, a community post links to MetaForge’s interactive map, but its current completeness is not independently established.
Official RuneScape: Dragonwilds map
The in-game map is the most direct option when you want to navigate your own world. It is integrated with exploration and multiplayer: unexplored terrain stays hidden by fog, while discovered terrain can be viewed and marked. Jagex documents the controls and quest behavior in its map help article.
- Open it: choose the MAP tab or press M on PC.
- Pan and zoom: drag to move around the map and scroll to zoom.
- Mark a location: right-click to add or remove a custom marker.
- Share a location: middle-click to ping it for everyone in your world.
- Track quests: primary quests appear on the map; secondary quests can be toggled for tracking. Quest locations use corresponding gold or silver markers.
The map reflects what your character has discovered; it does not reveal unexplored terrain in advance.
Community-linked Ashenfall interactive map
A community post links to MetaForge’s Ashenfall interactive map. A separate community update reported additions for the game’s 1.0 release, including Scorned Wilderness, Regicide, resources, chests, fishing spots, urns, and enemies. These posts make the map a useful external reference to check, but they do not verify that every location is present, that its information is current, or which filters and other functions it currently supports.

Which map should you use?
| Map | What it offers | Best use | Limit to keep in mind |
|---|---|---|---|
| Official in-game map | Fog-of-war reveal, quest tracking, pan and zoom, custom markers, and shared pings | Navigating your explored world and coordinating with other players | Unexplored terrain remains hidden |
| MetaForge Ashenfall map | A community post links to it; a 1.0 update post reports region, quest, resource, and point-of-interest additions | Checking an external reference for reported categories such as resources or chests | Current accuracy, completeness, and specific features are not established by the cited community posts |
What changed with the 1.0 release?
RuneScape: Dragonwilds reached 1.0 on September 15, 2026. Jagex announced releases for PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S, with crossplay; the launch added Scorned Wilderness and the Kuldra end-game boss. That version context matters when consulting a community map update, but map coverage can change as the game is updated. See Jagex’s 1.0 launch announcement.

- Inspired by the record-breaking online universe that’s captured the imagination of millions worldwide, RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg is the official cooperative board game for 1-5 players.
Physical cloth map
Jagex says the RuneScape: Dragonwilds Physical Deluxe Edition includes a cloth map of Ashenfall through Scorned Wilderness. This is a physical-edition inclusion, not an interactive map, and the announcement does not say it is sold separately. The launch announcement described physical Standard and Deluxe Editions for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S as planned for Q4 2026; it did not list Nintendo Switch 2 among those physical editions. Availability can depend on retailer and region. Details are in Jagex’s Physical Deluxe Edition announcement.
