Rust Twitch Drops from 2021 are historical rewards, not a currently claimable giveaway. Facepunch’s general guidance says missed Drops rounds have no other acquisition route. For an active Rust Drops campaign, players need a Twitch account linked to the Steam account that owns Rust, must watch the campaign’s required stream, and must claim the reward on Twitch.
Can you still claim Rust Twitch Drops from 2021?
No. Facepunch says missed Drops rounds cannot be obtained through another route. Buying Rust now does not restore expired campaign rewards. The official Rust Twitch Drop Event announcement is for a separate event dated 12 November 2020; Facepunch marks that event finished and its items unobtainable. It does not establish the dates or rewards for 2021.

Which 2021 Rust Drops belonged to xQc, Shroud, or Pokimane?
The official sources available here do not verify which 2021 Rust rewards were tied to xQc, Shroud, or Pokimane, or whether all three participated in the same campaign. A creator-specific skin should not be attributed to a streamer without an archived campaign page confirming the mapping.
The 2020 event announcement lists three exclusive items and watch periods of one hour for sunglasses, three hours for underwear, and six hours for a headset. Those details apply only to that 2020 event—not to Rust Drops in 2021.

How Rust Twitch Drops work during an active campaign
Facepunch’s Rust Drops page and Drops support guidance describe the general process. Campaign rules can vary, so check the active campaign page for the required channel and watch conditions.
- Prepare the accounts: Sign in to Twitch and Steam through Facepunch’s Rust Drops page, pair the accounts, and activate Drops. You need to own Rust on Steam to receive items.
- Check the campaign requirement: Open Twitch’s Drops inventory and review the active Rust campaign. Drops-enabled Rust streams may count for general rewards; a streamer-specific reward requires watching that particular streamer. Watching multiple channels simultaneously does not earn multiple rewards.
- Watch until progress is complete: Twitch tracks progress toward the campaign requirement. The watch-time threshold is set by the campaign; there is no verified 2021 threshold established here.
- Claim the reward on Twitch: Completing watch time and claiming are separate steps. Use the claim option in Twitch’s Drops inventory when it becomes available.
If a claimed Rust Drop does not appear in Steam
Facepunch says delivery can take up to 10 minutes after claiming. If the item is still missing after 30 minutes, check the account pairing and use Facepunch’s “Check for missing drops” function.

- Confirm that the linked Steam account is the one that owns Rust.
- Confirm that the correct Twitch account was paired with that Steam account.
- Run “Check for missing drops” on Facepunch’s Rust Drops page.
These are general instructions for Drops delivery; they do not make an expired 2021 reward claimable.
