In Elden Ring, each Sacred Tear increases the restorative potency of the Sacred Flasks: the Crimson Flask restores HP, and the Cerulean Flask restores FP. It does not increase how many times you can drink from a flask. How do you use Sacred Tears in Elden Ring?
After collecting one, rest at a Site of Grace to use it and increase your flask’s restorative potency. The item description reproduced by Eldenpedia specifies that it can be used after resting at a Site of Grace.

Where are Sacred Tears in Elden Ring?
Eldenpedia’s location reference lists Sacred Tears at churches across Limgrave, Liurnia of the Lakes, Caelid, Altus Plateau and the Mountaintops of the Giants. The supplied location information identifies these regions but does not enumerate individual churches, so consult the location reference for its map and entries.
How are Sacred Tears different from Crystal Tears?
The names are similar, but their flask roles differ. Sacred Tears raise the amount restored by Crimson and Cerulean Sacred Flasks. Crystal Tears are effects used with the Flask of Wondrous Physick; they are not Sacred Tear upgrades. Eldenpedia describes the Wondrous Physick separately from the Sacred Tear.

What are Sacred Tears in Skyward Sword?
In The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Sacred Tears are collectibles in Silent Realm trials, not flask upgrades. Link must collect 15 to pass a trial; collecting them also refills stamina. A collected tear can halt Sky and Earth Guardians while Link looks for the remaining tears.
Zelda Wiki reproduces the game’s tutorial text: “You got a Sacred Tear! This object’s power halts the movements of the Guardians for just 90 seconds. Collect all 15 to pass the trial!” The page does not identify a named speaker for that message. See the Sacred Tear reference for the Silent Realm context.
Which game does “Sacred Tear” refer to?
If the question is about upgrading healing or FP restoration, it refers to Elden Ring. If it mentions collecting 15 items, Guardians or the Silent Realm, it refers to Skyward Sword. The shared name describes different mechanics in the two games.
