Spec Passives are a late-game reroll system for swords and fighting styles in Sailor Piece. The community wiki lists level 10,000, 5,000 Gems, and Passive Shards as the requirements and reroll currency; its published odds put Mythical rolls at 0.2%. For farming, Fortune Chosen is the standout guide-recommended option, while damage-focused players should weigh Rampage, Executioner, or a general damage roll against their combat goal.
How to unlock Spec Passives
The Sailor Piece Wiki’s Spec Passives guide lists these requirements and route:
- Reach level 10,000 and have 5,000 Gems.
- Use a portal to travel to Judgement Island.
- Find the six-eyed samurai NPC and interact with it to access the Spec Passive system.
- Spend Passive Shards to reroll. The wiki also lists a guaranteed Mythical passive after 500 rerolls.
These are community-reference details, not an official developer specification. A separate GamingFansites guide dated April 3, 2026, agrees on the core unlock requirements; the wiki homepage reported an August 31, 2026 update. Requirements and mechanics can change with game updates, so check the live NPC panel before spending resources.
What are the Spec Passive odds?
The wiki lists the following rarity chances, which GamingFansites also republishes:

| Rarity | Published chance |
|---|---|
| Common | 50.05% |
| Uncommon | 28.75% |
| Rare | 15% |
| Epic | 5% |
| Legendary | 1% |
| Mythical | 0.2% |
These are guide-reported game odds, not statistics published by the developers or a named research organization. The listed chances total 100%; the wiki’s separate 500-reroll guarantee is a stated guarantee, not a reason to treat any individual roll as more likely than the published odds suggest.
Which Spec Passive should you choose?
The right roll depends on whether you want more drops, broad damage, sustained combat scaling, or extra damage against weakened NPCs. The following ranges and effects are listed by the community wiki; ranges reflect the roll values it reports.

| Passive | Listed effects | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Fortune Chosen | 17.5%–30% chance for +1 Drop; 5%–10% Luck; 5%–12.5% Damage | Farming, especially when the extra-drop chance and Luck matter more than maximizing combat damage. |
| Executioner | 30%–45% damage against NPCs below 50% HP; 2%–4% Crit Chance; 7.5%–15% Crit Damage | Situations where the target spends time below half health. A separate guide particularly recommends it for Boss Rush. |
| Rampage | 15%–30% Damage; 2%–4% Crit Rate; 5%–10% Crit Damage; each hit adds 0.002x damage up to a 1.15x–1.30x cap; resets after five seconds without a hit | Sustained fighting where you can keep landing hits and maintain the ramp. |
A separate guide recommends Berserker or Damage V for raw damage, but the material available here does not establish their numerical effects or provide a tested comparison. Treat that as guide advice rather than a measured ranking. Compare the actual values on your roll: a passive’s range means that two copies of the same name can have different listed stats.
How should you set filters and Target Stats?
The wiki describes rarity-skipping filters and Target Stats thresholds. Its warning is important: a filter may stop when one selected stat reaches its threshold, even if the rest of the roll is less desirable. Do not assume a result is good just because it passed one target.

- Set thresholds for the stats that matter to your goal rather than relying only on a target trait.
- Inspect the complete roll—including all listed stats and conditional effects—before accepting it.
- The wiki cautions that Target Trait may not be reliable; its recommendation is to use stat targets instead.
These filter behaviors are wiki-reported rather than independently verified here. Check the current in-game controls and resulting roll before committing shards.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Do Spec Passives work across weapons or stack?
One guide reports that a passive applies to the weapon or spec currently in hand and that passives do not stack across multiple weapons. It also mentions a Fortune Chosen extra-drop interaction involving Satoru Gojo. These are guide-reported caveats, not official system rules, and could change. Check the current in-game panel and test the relevant setup cautiously before spending shards to build around an interaction.
