What is Salvation’s Standard-Bearers?
The official ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN announcement calls Salvation’s Standard-Bearers “an enhanced version of the Balancers” and says it has arrived in Limveld. The community encounter page identifies the underlying boss as Weapon-Bequeathed Harmonia and describes this fight as the enhanced Balancers variant. “Everdark Balancers” is a useful shorthand, but Salvation’s Standard-Bearers is the encounter name.

The official announcement frames the change as “Equilibrium, warped by the Night, descends into ruin.” Official patch notes reproduced in the same feed identify fixes affecting Balancers encounters, rendering in the Salvation’s Standard-Bearers battle, and conditions affecting enemy actions. They list App Ver. 1.03.2 and Regulation Ver. 1.03.4; those labels do not establish the latest live version on every platform.
How the fight changes between stages
Opening: seven Standard-Bearers
The community wiki reports that the opening resembles the standard Balancers fight. Defeat all seven Standard-Bearers to trigger the next stage: one rises, screams, and tears at her face, while blood covers the scene. The enemies then become more jittery and attack more aggressively once engaged.

Second stage: blood loss and revivals
In the second stage, the wiki reports that blood loss removes 50% of maximum health and causes additional periodic damage for a short time. Treat blood-loss buildup as a priority rather than waiting for the status to trigger.
According to the same page, a defeated Standard-Bearer revives after a brief timer with a permanent 7% attack increase, and repeated revivals can stack that increase. This is community-reported behavior, not an official patch specification.
Worm transitions at reported health thresholds
At reported 80%, 50%, and 20% health thresholds, the Standard-Bearers merge into a large worm that erupts from the ground. Its attacks include lashes and thrashes that create shockwaves, plus exploding buds that build blood loss. After its sequence, the worm pauses and telegraphs a large explosion with heavy damage and substantial blood-loss buildup; it then dissipates and another Standard-Bearer wave appears.
The community page also reports a special delay after the 20% transition: if the worm has not appeared for two minutes, the Standard-Bearers disappear and trigger its pattern again. Use that as a contingency described by the wiki, not a universal timer verified across platforms or versions.

How to handle the Standard-Bearers
Control crossfire and separate pressure
The community wiki recommends splitting enemies among teammates rather than letting the group collapse into one crowded fight. It reports that at a time two enemies target each player—or one in single-player—while the others are more passive. Keep active threats in view and use space to avoid being hit from unseen angles.
Interrupt with parries or heavy attacks
The individual enemies are reported to be parryable and to have low poise, making parries and heavy attacks options for interrupting their combos. Use these only if you are comfortable with the timing; an attempted parry that leaves you exposed can be worse than a safe dodge.

Read the attack cues
- The wiki recommends rolling forward into either swipe flurry instead of retreating.
- When a Standard-Bearer extends its left arm upward, expect a grab and dodge it.
- Watch for screams and avoid letting blood-loss buildup accumulate unchecked.
- If Sleep procs, hold your attacks until the enemy is visibly asleep. The page notes that long enemy animations can delay the visible effect, so hitting too soon may interrupt the opportunity.
How to survive the worm attack pattern
Jump shockwaves and stay deliberate around slams
Jump the shockwaves created by the worm’s dives or weapon swings, according to the community guide. For its triple ground slam, the page recommends staying close while dodging; it reports a blind spot near the worm on the third hit. If the attack is aimed at a teammate, avoid crossing into the impact area while trying to take advantage of that positioning.
Attack during the pause; leave before the bloom
The pause at the end of the worm’s sequence is the main damage opening. The wiki recommends attacking the blood clots on its belly from several angles, reporting that destroying them adds health and stance damage. Emptying the worm’s health or causing a stance break can interrupt its bloom attack. If neither happens, retreat well outside the large explosion’s range rather than trying to finish a last hit.

Read strictly as those listed multipliers, strike is comparatively favorable and holy comparatively unfavorable; that is an interpretation of community-wiki figures, not an official weakness statement.
What reward does the fight give?
The community encounter page lists The Will of Balance as the reward. The official announcement establishes the encounter’s connection to ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN: The Forsaken Hollows; it does not establish that every game edition includes that content.
