The Shrine of Sanguine is northwest of Skingrad, just north of the Cursed Mine. To get the Sanguine Rose, you must be level 8, offer Cyrodilic Brandy, complete Sanguine’s task at a dinner party in Castle Leyawiin, then return to the shrine.
Where to find the Shrine of Sanguine
From Skingrad, leave through the west gate and follow the road west. When it bends south, continue west toward the Cursed Mine. The shrine is north of the mine, over a small hill. Guides place it generally north or northwest of Skingrad; the mine is the clearest landmark for the final approach. Exact map-grid coordinates are not established.
If you prefer a map marker, speaking with Fadus Calidius at Skingrad’s Fighters Guild or Falanu Hlaalu at All Things Alchemical may reveal the shrine after the relevant Daedra dialogue prerequisites. Otherwise, follow the landmark route.
What you need before starting
- Level 8: The quest requires you to reach this level.
- One bottle of Cyrodilic Brandy: Bring it as the shrine offering. The Main Ingredient in the Imperial City Market District is identified as a vendor that sells it.
How to complete Sanguine’s quest
- Travel to the Shrine of Sanguine with the Cyrodilic Brandy and activate the shrine.
- Go to Countess Alessia Caro’s dinner party at Castle Leyawiin.
- Cast the Stark Reality spell granted by the quest on the party to complete the objective.
- Return to the Shrine of Sanguine and collect the Sanguine Rose.
What the Sanguine Rose does
The Sanguine Rose is a staff that summons a random Daedra when used on a target. The summoned Daedra attacks the person or creature you targeted.
