Ingredients can also transform an existing effect, so the order and starting product matter. The available published recipe examples do not establish a complete, current list of every effect and recipe; this is a partial guide, not an exhaustive inventory.
How effects work in Schedule 1
Effects follow two routes: a drug may have an effect before mixing, and ingredients may add or change effects. Ingredients can also affect a product’s value and addictiveness. The effects reference describes base effects and modifiers, while the ingredients reference covers ingredient impacts.
Mixing is not always cumulative: a new ingredient can replace an effect already present. A community reference also reports that transformations can continue after an effect cap, but this should be treated as a community claim rather than a verified rule for every current build. See the mixing reference.
Base effects before mixing
Examples in the effects reference describe how different products affect the game’s presentation. These are in-game visual and audio effects, not descriptions of real-world drug effects.

- Marijuana: chromatic aberration and a slight audio echo.
- Shrooms: blurry depth of field and ripples.
- Methamphetamine: visual shaking and a muffled thrum.
- Cocaine: increased field of view.
Recipe examples and ingredient order
Each recipe below names its starting product and ingredient sequence. These are examples reported by guides, not a complete recipe list. Outcomes can vary with game version, and one published guide contains conflicting entries for Aspen Death, so verify results in your build before relying on that recipe.
| Starting product | Ingredient sequence | Reported effects or result | Source caveat |
|---|---|---|---|
| OG Kush | Donut, Mouth Wash, Cuke, Banana, Viagor, Flu Medicine | Anti-Gravity, Jennerising, Balding, Thought-Provoking, Gingeritis, Tropic Thunder, and Sedating | PC Gamer example; effects and reported $127 sell price are version-sensitive. The price is not a dependable current value without a specified build and calculation basis. |
| Green Crack | Viagor, Horse Semen | Energizing, Tropic Thunder, and Long Faced | PC Gamer example; verify in the version being played. |
| Sour Diesel | Cuke, Flu Medicine, Banana | Refreshing, Thought-Provoking, Sedating, and Gingeritis | PC Gamer example; verify in the version being played. |
| OG Kush | Donut | A Schedule1.io entry associates Aspen Death with Calming and Calorie-Dense effects. | The guide excerpt has conflicting Aspen Death entries, so this attribution is not reliable without checking the page and game. |
These examples come from the PC Gamer recipe guide and Schedule1.io products guide. A recipe list that omits its base product, ingredient order, or effect replacements can be misleading; isolated examples do not establish outcomes for other combinations.
Unlocking products and ingredients
The game database describes four initial marijuana strains associated with Albert Hoover, with other products and suppliers becoming available through progression. It says methamphetamine access involves progressing into Westville and a relationship with a contact who introduces Shirley Watts. Because these unlock details are database information and may change between versions, check the in-game progression and supplier access in your build rather than treating the names or steps as universal. See the Schedule1.io database.

A community effects page flags at least one effect as save-editing-only in some contexts while also indicating official console availability. That does not establish a dependable availability matrix across all effects, platforms, or current builds. See the effects page. If a particular effect appears unavailable, confirm the game version and platform before concluding it requires save editing.

Because no single current build, complete effect list, or complete recipe set is established by these references, treat “all effects” lists elsewhere as version-specific unless they state the tested game version and show the base product, ordered ingredients, final effects, and relevant unlocks.
