The preview listed a boutique store, a pawnshop and wall decorations, while a separate v0.3.4 open beta was expected to arrive first. Those were expectations reported at the time—not confirmation that the update shipped on schedule or that every feature reached the final build.
What the April 6 preview said was coming
Insider Gaming’s April 6, 2025 article, “Schedule 1’s Next Update is Scheduled to Release Tomorrow, Here’s What’s In It”, attributed its update information to Tyler. The story reported that the “next update is almost ready to go” and named three planned additions:
- A boutique store
- A pawnshop
- Wall decorations
The article also mentioned “some other fancy stuff,” but did not specify what that meant. It is not possible to identify additional features from that phrase alone.
What “tomorrow” and the beta timing meant
In that April 6 article, “tomorrow” meant Monday, April 7, 2025: the date Tyler was reported to expect the full update. The story separately said the v0.3.4 open beta was taking longer than expected and was expected to release first thing in the morning, before the full release.

For the beta, the article estimated an afternoon release for players on the US East Coast and later at night in the UK, based on Tyler being in Australia. This was a timing estimate reported by the article, not an official global rollout schedule. The sources cited here do not establish whether the update or beta actually released on those dates.
Keep the Special Customers roadmap separate
A separate official Schedule I Steam announcement describes a community-voted Special Customers update. Tyler’s roadmap named travelling groups—bikers, businessmen, hippies, a party bus and a rock band—that would favour one or two product types and buy in larger quantities while in town.
That announcement concerns a distinct set of planned features. It does not show that those groups or bulk purchases were part of the boutique-and-pawnshop update previewed on April 6, 2025.
