Schedule I received two documented beta builds in August 2025: v0.4.0f2 on August 17, with detailed notes covering graffiti, cartel balance changes, and bug fixes; and v0.4.0f3 on August 22, which the official event record confirms was beta-only. The detailed f2 notes should not be mistaken for f3 patch notes.
Which August 2025 Schedule I beta builds are covered?
| Build | Date | Branch | What is confirmed |
|---|---|---|---|
| v0.4.0f2 | August 17, 2025 | Beta patch listing | Detailed changes and fixes are recorded by SteamDB’s patch listing. |
| v0.4.0f3 | August 22, 2025 | Beta only | The official Steam event identifies the version and says, “Only applies to the beta branch.” Its full announcement notes are not available in the retrieved record. Official Steam event; SteamDB build record. |
That distinction matters: the graffiti feature and the other specific changes below are documented for v0.4.0f2, not confirmed as part of f3.
What changed in v0.4.0f2?
Graffiti reduces cartel influence and earns XP
The patch added a graffiti system. Spraying graffiti on map surfaces reduces cartel influence and grants experience points. It also added spray paint as a Gas Mart item; players can buy one can each time they rank up. The notes do not specify additional purchase limits or other ways to obtain spray paint. SteamDB’s v0.4.0f2 listing.
Cartel and economy adjustments
- Adjusted cartel activity cooldowns.
- Reduced the resale multiplier for weapons.
- Disabled passive cartel influence gain.
- Made pickpocketing police more difficult.
Performance and save-data change
The patch changed the formatting of trash-save JSON to reduce file size. The listing does not give a measured reduction, so no specific storage saving can be inferred.

Is v0.4.0f3 on the beta branch?
Yes. The official Steam event calls v0.4.0f3 an “Open Beta Patch” and explicitly states, “Only applies to the beta branch.” It is dated August 22, 2025. The available event record does not expose the full announcement body, so it confirms the build’s beta status and version but not a detailed list of changes. Official Steam event record.

Use the suffix to identify which update a feature belongs to. The detailed August 17 notes describe v0.4.0f2. The August 22 record identifies a separate build, v0.4.0f3, as beta-only, but does not verify that the f2 changes carried over or enumerate new f3 changes.
