The mark depended on the uniform: the Nintendo racetrack logo was assigned to home jerseys, while the Nintendo Switch 2 logo was assigned to away jerseys. The Mariners said they were the first MLB club to feature different marks on home and road jerseys.

How the jersey sponsorship fits Nintendo’s history with Seattle
The Mariners and Nintendo described the relationship as dating to 1992. In a July 2026 partner announcement, the club said Nintendo helped keep the franchise in Seattle and again identified the company as its first-ever jersey sleeve sponsor. Nintendo’s 2015 shareholder-meeting Q&A offers historical context: then-president Satoru Iwata discussed Nintendo of America’s role as the club’s principal owner at that time and Hiroshi Yamauchi’s involvement. Is the Nintendo sleeve patch on retail Mariners jerseys?
The sponsorship announcement establishes the on-field sleeve marks, but it does not say that consumer jerseys would carry them. MLB Shop lists Mariners jerseys, including a 2026 Cal Raleigh Nike Home Stadium jersey with a 50th-season patch; that listing does not confirm a Nintendo sleeve mark. The separate Super Mario Mariners giveaway
The jersey sponsorship was distinct from the club’s Super Mario Day promotion. At the September 14, 2025 event, the first 15,000 attendees received a Super Mario x Mariners hat, according to Nintendo’s September 26 report. The March 2025 announcement did not state the contract’s value, duration, or other detailed terms. It establishes the partnership and announced uniform marks, but not the commercial terms or the availability of Nintendo-marked jerseys for fans.
