What’s actually slowing this PC down?

After summoning, do not immediately build every new hero or spend the rest of your Rubies. Push Adventure until your team meets a genuine wall, use the rewards and systems it unlocks to assemble a compact five-hero core, and then establish one dependable repeat-stage farmer. Spend premium currency, duplicates, gear and rare materials only when they solve a current account problem.
This order follows Netmarble’s beginner guidance and the current September 2026 interface changes. Your exact best hero, farming map and stopping point still depend on your roster, region and live patch.

The priority order after a summon
New accounts gain more from unlocking systems than from owning a large roster. Use this sequence whenever you finish a summon session:
- Claim and inspect beginner rewards. Collect available login, tutorial and free-summon rewards, then review what your account is actually missing before pulling again.
- Set a wishlist if the current summon interface offers one. Choose targets that solve a role or content problem. A wishlist is a targeting tool, not a guarantee of a particular hero.
- Push Adventure/Story. Progression supplies rewards, equipment, heroes, materials and feature unlocks. Netmarble’s Ultimate Beginner Guide and its Beginner Guide Seven Knight Rebirth both put Adventure ahead of early specialization.
- Build a functional core. Concentrate upgrades on about five heroes rather than distributing them across every new pull.
- Make one hero a reliable repeat-stage carry. A farmer turns stamina and repeat attempts into experience, Rubies and materials while the rest of the roster catches up.
- Only then specialize. Bosses, raids, Arena and other mode-specific teams become worthwhile after basic progression and farming are stable.
Why Adventure comes before more summoning
Adventure is not merely a story campaign. It is the account’s unlock track. Clearing stages opens features and pays out the equipment, heroes, upgrade materials and currency needed to make later content practical. A stronger account with fewer heroes generally advances farther than a broad collection whose members are all under-invested.

Push while your team clears comfortably. “Comfortably” means you can repeat the stage without constant manual rescue, failed attempts or a formation that collapses on the first enemy skill. If a stage is taking several attempts, pause progression and fix the bottleneck instead of burning resources on random summons.
The official guidance does not establish one universal story-stage number at which every player should stop. Enemy levels, balance changes, account rewards and your summoned roster vary. Treat a progression wall as a decision point: identify the reason for the failure, farm the most useful reliable stage, improve only what addresses that reason, and try Adventure again.
What a progression wall usually means
- Enemies survive too long: improve your main damage dealer’s level, weapon or offensive setup before raising several secondary attackers.
- Your frontline falls first: adjust formation and defensive positioning, then add survivability to the hero absorbing attacks.
- The team cannot recover: add or improve support, mitigation or healing if your available roster provides it.
- You win but runs are slow: designate a repeat-stage carry and use a formation that keeps the run reliable.
- Gear is the only missing piece: make a modest upgrade that clears the wall; avoid maxing equipment you expect to replace quickly.
Build a compact five-hero core
The September 2026 community guide recommends focusing upgrades on five core heroes, then expanding gradually once the main team is stable. Five is a practical early-account discipline, not a permanent roster limit. It keeps experience, enhancement materials, equipment and duplicate decisions concentrated where they produce the fastest progression.

| Core job | Question to ask | Early-account objective |
|---|---|---|
| Primary damage | Who ends ordinary fights fastest with the gear and materials I can provide now? | Clear Adventure and repeat stages consistently. |
| Frontline or damage control | Who can survive the attacks that currently end my runs? | Prevent wipes long enough for damage to finish. |
| Support | Which available effect solves the team’s present weakness: recovery, protection, control or amplification? | Make difficult encounters repeatable rather than merely winnable once. |
| Secondary damage or utility | Does this hero add coverage that the primary carry lacks? | Handle enemy patterns without duplicating an already adequate role. |
| Farming carry | Which built hero can clear a repeat stage quickly and safely? | Convert repeated runs into levels, Rubies and materials. |
One hero may fill more than one job. A story carry can also be the farmer; a durable frontline hero can provide useful control. The aim is not to force a fixed formation but to cover the problems your account actually faces.

How to judge a newly summoned hero
There is no universally correct hero ranking established by the current guides. Compare a candidate against your account using four tests:
- Which bottleneck does the hero solve? Story damage, survival, support, control and farming speed are different needs. A powerful hero that solves none of your current problems can wait.
- Does the role overlap? If an invested hero already performs the same job adequately, the new arrival may have lower immediate value than an upgrade to your existing core.
- What is the investment burden? Consider levels, equipment, duplicates, materials and any teammates the hero needs before contributing. A hero that is excellent only after a deep investment may be a poor first project.
- Does the value cross content? Prefer candidates that help Adventure and farming now while remaining useful in a later mode, unless a specific wall demands a specialist.
This framework is an account-building decision, not an official tier list. Re-evaluate it when a patch, event or balance change alters your available options.
Configure the wishlist and decide whether to summon again
Before spending more Rubies, write down the missing function rather than a vague desire for “another good hero.” Your note might say “faster repeat clears,” “a frontline that survives the next Adventure chapter” or “support for a boss attempt.” Configure the wishlist around that need when the live banner supports the feature.
Do not treat wishlist placement as a promised drop rate or guarantee. The available beginner material recommends using the feature but does not establish current summon probabilities, pity rules or a guaranteed result. Check the banner’s in-game details for your region and patch.
When another pull is justified
- Your current team lacks a role that prevents Adventure progress.
- The banner’s available targets address that role and you have preserved enough currency for the account’s next objective.
- You can build the new hero now without stripping essential gear or materials from the core.
- The pull supports a defined plan rather than spending simply because Rubies are available.
When to stop pulling
- The new hero duplicates an adequately built role.
- Your account still needs levels, equipment or formation work more than another roster slot.
- You would have to consume a valuable duplicate or scarce material before the hero becomes useful.
- You have not established a repeat-stage farmer and are still spending currency that could support progression.
Turn a progression pause into a farming loop
When Adventure slows, switch from “push at any cost” to a repeatable loop. Netmarble’s beginner guidance specifically connects fodder leveling and Ruby farming with early progression.
Choose the highest reliable repeat stage
Use the highest stage your current team clears consistently, not the highest stage it can occasionally defeat. A slightly easier stage that finishes every run is usually more useful than a risky stage that consumes attempts or requires constant manual intervention. There is no fixed map that is best for every account, and the available material does not establish a universal stage threshold.

Check the stage’s displayed rewards and run it with the hero you want to develop. The carry earns practical experience while the account collects materials and Rubies. If runs are slow, first test a better formation or positioning; only then decide whether gear or a different carry is needed.
Use fodder deliberately
Low-rarity heroes can support the leveling loop, but their exact treatment depends on the live game’s current enhancement, combination, transfer and inventory rules. Before using a one-, two- or three-star hero, inspect its Hero and Item Info screens and confirm that it is not a needed duplicate, collection requirement or material for a system you have not unlocked.
If you have already leveled low-rarity heroes to 30, do not automatically discard them just because they are low rarity. Sort them into three groups:
- Keep and use: any unit still filling a story, support or farming role better than your alternatives.
- Reserve: duplicates or units that may be required by an unlocked or upcoming growth system; keep at least the copies your account’s current objectives need.
- Fodder only after verification: units that no longer contribute and are explicitly eligible for the game’s current growth process.
The safe principle is to convert surplus units into progress only after checking the current UI. The beginner guides support fodder leveling as an account loop, but they do not provide a universal rule that every level-30 one-, two- or three-star hero should be consumed.

Make farming useful, not merely possible
A farmer should be dependable enough that you can repeat the stage while doing other account work. Improve the carry until failures are rare, then direct surplus experience toward the rest of the five-hero core. This creates a compounding loop: the carry funds levels and materials, the core improves, and the next Adventure wall becomes less expensive to solve.

Formation and positioning can solve a wall before gear can
Formation changes who receives pressure and how safely damage dealers operate. The mechanics overview from the BlueStacks Content Team explains the front/back defensive roles, while Netmarble’s beginner material also calls formation important for farming.
- Put the hero that can survive sustained attacks where the formation exposes it to the most danger.
- Keep fragile damage or support heroes in the safer position unless the encounter specifically targets the back line.
- Test the same stage with one formation change at a time so you know what fixed the run.
- Use the formation that produces reliable clears, even if a faster-looking arrangement occasionally finishes first.
Positioning is especially valuable when your heroes are close to the required power. It can turn a failed run into a stable one without consuming rare enhancement materials.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Spend gear and upgrade materials against the current bottleneck
Early equipment is a bridge to progression, not a permanent collection. Netmarble warns against heavy investment in temporary gear likely to be discarded. Upgrade enough to solve the immediate Adventure or farming problem, then keep materials for pieces that will remain useful as the core develops.

A practical upgrade check
- Will this upgrade prevent a current failure or noticeably shorten a repeat run?
- Is the hero part of the five-unit core or a confirmed specialist for the next objective?
- Would the same material improve the farmer or the hero currently dying first?
- Am I upgrading because the game presents a button, or because I have a defined result I need?
If the answer to the final question is “because I have materials,” wait. Preserving scarce items gives you flexibility when a better hero, equipment piece or mode becomes available.

Rubies are most valuable when they advance a plan. Reserve them for a summon, refresh or account objective that addresses a known need instead of spending simply to empty the balance. Keep enough flexibility to react to a progression wall, a useful banner target or an event objective visible in the live game.
Valuable duplicates should not be consumed casually. Before combining, enhancing or otherwise converting a duplicate, confirm whether the hero is part of your core, a future specialist, a collection requirement or a resource for a system you have not yet unlocked. A duplicate that appears redundant today may reduce the cost of a later build.
Use the current Adventurer’s Guide as your task list
Netmarble’s September 2, 2026 update details, updated September 16 in UTC+0, describe a consolidation of missions, expedition events and the Content Dashboard into the Adventurer’s Guide. The guide includes Adventurer’s Path and Item Info sections.
Open that interface before choosing your next activity. It can show which objectives and rewards are currently available, while Item Info helps verify how a material or hero is used. Because menus, events, banners and balance can change, follow the labels shown in your region and current patch rather than an old screenshot or a fixed online route.

Specialization is the next phase, not the first one. Once your core clears Adventure reliably and your farmer supplies levels and materials, begin adding mode-specific heroes or formations.
Bosses and raids
Build for the boss mechanic that actually limits your score or survival. Do not dismantle the story team to create a speculative boss roster; add specialists gradually from the stable farming base.
Arena and competitive modes
Competitive teams often value different speed, control, survival or counterplay than repeat-stage farming. Enter with a defined objective, such as learning which role your account lacks, rather than diverting every resource into a second team immediately.
Expedition and event objectives
Use the Adventurer’s Guide to see the current rewards and requirements. Temporary events can change the best short-term target, but they should not automatically overturn the core progression and farming plan.

Common early mistakes and the correction
| Mistake | Why it slows the account | Correction |
|---|---|---|
| Building every new summon | Experience, gear and materials become too thin to make any unit reliable. | Keep the main investment on roughly five core heroes and add units only for a defined role. |
| Stopping Adventure to farm indefinitely | You miss feature unlocks and rewards that would improve the account. | Farm only until the current wall is solved, then test Adventure again. |
| Chasing a named “best map” | Stage value depends on your team’s clear reliability and the live patch. | Use the highest stage you can repeat safely and compare its actual displayed rewards. |
| Maxing temporary equipment | Scarce materials are trapped in gear you soon replace. | Make the smallest upgrade that fixes the present bottleneck. |
| Spending Rubies because they are available | You lose the ability to answer a future role gap or useful banner. | Save currency until you can name the account objective the spending serves. |
| Consuming duplicates immediately | A future build or growth system may need that copy. | Verify the current Hero and Item Info rules before converting it. |
| Ignoring formation | A good roster can still fail when fragile units receive the wrong pressure. | Adjust front/back positioning before committing rare resources. |
A simple repeatable routine
- Open the Adventurer’s Guide and note available missions, Adventurer’s Path tasks and item information.
- Push Adventure until the next stage becomes unreliable.
- Identify the exact failure: damage, survival, support, positioning or equipment.
- Run the highest reliable repeat stage with your designated farmer.
- Use the resulting experience and materials on the five-hero core, beginning with the unit that addresses the failure.
- Re-test Adventure and stop farming as soon as the next progression step is reliable.
- Review the wishlist and Ruby balance only after the account objective is clear.
What the available guidance does not establish
No single hero is proven to be the correct next target for every account. Current banner odds, a universal tier list, one mandatory build, and a fixed story-stage cutoff for switching to farming are not established here. Those answers change with your roster, server region, banner, balance patch and unlocked systems.
Use the live game’s banner details, Hero screen, Item Info and Adventurer’s Guide for those volatile facts. The durable principle is priority order: progress, compact core, reliable farming, then specialization.
