Where to find Savage Lion’s Claw
Start at the Three-Path Cross Site of Grace in Gravesite Plain. Eldenpedia places the Ash of War in a small camp northwest of the grace and directly west of Run-Down Traveler’s Rest; it recommends heading north along the cliff just west of the grace to make the location easier to find. Eldenpedia’s item entry gives that landmark description.
There is a second useful way to orient yourself: Gamer Guides’ database entry describes the pickup as beside an abandoned campfire southwest of the Greatbridge, North Site of Grace. The descriptions use different nearby landmarks, so use both to search the camp and cliff area rather than relying on an exact coordinate.
What the Ash of War does
Savage Lion’s Claw grants Heavy affinity and the Savage Lion’s Claw skill. Gamer Guides describes the move as a forward somersault strike, with an additional strike available when you give another input. Its listed FP cost is 20.

Compatible weapons
The database lists swords, axes, and hammers as compatible weapon classes, excluding small armaments and thrusting swords. It is not listed as usable on every weapon, so check the weapon’s Ash of War options before making the trip.
Can you get another copy?
After acquiring Savage Lion’s Claw, Eldenpedia says it can be duplicated by trading Lost Ashes of War to Smithing Master Hewg. See the item entry for its duplication note.
