Look near Velvet Shade in Kaifeng for a Nine Mortals disciple. Following the encounter leads into the Heroic Assembly investigation, which concerns the missing List of Faceless Ones and Yin-Inscribed Booklet.
Walkthroughs associate access with the main-story quests “New Guest in Kaifeng” and “Gathering of Heroes,” but do not establish that both are mandatory prerequisites. If the disciple or quest is not available, continue the Kaifeng main story and check again.
Collect the seven Revelry Hall clues
Complete the clue activities across the hall’s three floors. These interactions are the investigative objectives; some text or localization may differ in your game.

Reach and investigate the restricted chamber
If the servant blocks the chamber entrance, circle around the outside of the building and crouch through the side opening. Inside, inspect the highlighted evidence: Five Minerals Powder, wine, an unconscious person, and a fallen pipa.

- “A rich guest purchased a guqin for a huge sum of money” + “Many guests in Jinling came to see Shimmer.”
- “The Jinling Envoy loved the guqin” + “The notes were about her longing.”
- “The Jinling Envoy also admired Ruolan” + “Ruolan played the guqin in Yunhua Tower.”
Choose “The Jiangnan envoy has gone to Nimbus Tower” as the conclusion and submit the clues. Then proceed to Nimbus Tower.

- Search the room for the Yin-Inscribed Booklet.
- Incinerate the booklet at the nearby fire.
- Speak with Qin Ruolan and continue through the dialogue to complete the quest. Walkthroughs describe a fireworks scene at the close.
