What changes when you choose Priscilla or Irina?
The actress choice affects the play’s performance and the crowns you receive, not whether the quest progresses. Gamer Guides and Witcher.tools list the same XP and crown rewards for both options.

Gamer Guides’ walkthrough, updated in 2024, and Witcher.tools’ quest listing report these figures. Prima Games also notes that Priscilla earns additional money and describes the difference as otherwise performance-related.
Does the choice affect the quest or Dudu?
No. “The Play’s the Thing” is a main quest in Novigrad. Priscilla writes the play for Irina Renarde’s troupe to draw Dudu out of hiding. After the performance, Dudu reveals himself and agrees to help free Dandelion. The walkthrough says that choosing Priscilla or Irina does not change this outcome.

How to earn the other play rewards
The princess casting choice is only one part of the reward. The walkthrough also lists separate rewards for recruiting the Puffins, choosing Abelard as the prince, and getting the timed lines right. It reports up to 130 crowns with the relevant reward choices; that total is not earned just by selecting Priscilla.

Which actress should you pick?
- Pick Priscilla for the higher documented crown reward. XP is the same as with Irina.
- Pick Irina if you prefer her in the role or want to direct the performance that way. The quest still reaches the same outcome.
