What happens if you help Amanda?
After Friend Request, Amanda calls Michael about being caught shoplifting at Didier Sachs. Answering and accepting her request starts The Good Husband: Michael goes to Amanda, takes the police car, escapes the police, and drives her home. One guide describes a three-star wanted level during the escape.
The choice is mainly whether to play this family event or let the reported lawyer fee come out of Michael’s money. The iGrandTheftAuto mission guide says ignoring Amanda costs $5,000 in lawyer fees. That figure is a guide’s description of the game behavior, not an independently verified official Rockstar statement.
Is The Good Husband required for 100% completion?
No. GTABase lists the mission as optional, missable, and not required for 100% completion. PowerPyx says there is no later chance to complete it if you do not answer Amanda’s call. If you want to see the event, answer and accept when the call occurs.
