What you gain by saving Noah
- Frantz’s Blood Code: Game8 lists it among the rewards for completing Noah’s Timeline Shift Decision.
- Noah as a partner: He becomes available in present-day MagMell and can offer requests and gifts, according to Game8.
- A close-range fighter: Bandai Namco describes Noah as a Twin Blade user whose Link Trait reduces stamina consumption.
Bandai Namco’s April 10, 2026, version 1.0.7 patch notes say Noah in Past MagMell can be spoken to for trading or gifts, and that his trade inventory is shared with Noah in the present. Those details are specific to that update and could change in later patches.

What happens if you leave Noah unsaved?
Game8 reports that the bridge to the mainland does not appear if Noah is left unsaved. The ferry at MagMell Island Pier remains available, however, and can still take you to the Sunken City. On the reported evidence, leaving him changes the travel route rather than cutting off all access to that destination.
How to save Noah
Game8’s walkthrough reports that the key action is returning to the past through the time-jump portal. The guide says this saves Noah regardless of dialogue choice; ignoring the portal does not. It also identifies Franz the Dejected Assailant as a required boss for Noah’s bond quest.

These trigger details come from Game8’s guide reporting, not an independently verified test. Don’t assume that choosing a particular line of dialogue alone completes the rescue.

Saving Noah is the stronger choice if you want the extra character content. The available sources do not establish that saving him has no other story consequences, so treat it as a meaningful story decision rather than a guaranteed consequence-free reward.
