How light and heavy weapons differ
The Combat Warriors Wiki describes light weapons as faster-attacking and generally lower in damage per hit. Heavy weapons are described as slower-attacking and generally higher in damage per hit. Those labels describe a tradeoff, not a guarantee that one class will perform better for every player or match.
For your choice, consider both the listed stats and how reliably you can land attacks. A shorter cooldown may suit a player who can connect repeated swings; a slower weapon may suit someone who prefers fewer, harder hits. That is a practical way to think about the tradeoff, not a tested comparison of class win rates.
Compare the weapon’s stats, not just its class
These examples come from the Combat Warriors Wiki’s weapon lists. They are listed reference values, not independently tested results or a verified 2026 balance snapshot.

The listed DPS is a reference stat, not a prediction of match results. Damage and cooldown help you understand the weapon’s intended rhythm; whether that rhythm works for you depends on landing attacks in actual play.
Which class fits your playstyle?
- Consider light weapons if you want shorter gaps between attacks and are comfortable trying to land multiple swings. The wiki’s examples include the Baton, Sickle and Dual Hatchets.
- Consider heavy weapons if you prefer higher listed damage per hit and are willing to work around longer cooldowns. The Bo Staff, Fire Axe and Glaive illustrate that slower, harder-hit profile.
- Compare specific weapons if the class-level tradeoff does not settle the choice. Look at damage, slash cooldown and listed DPS together, then consider which attack timing you can use consistently.
Check current stats and unlock details in-game
The wiki lists in-game credit prices and progression entries, including zero-credit examples such as the Baton and Bo Staff. Its weapon-list detail panels say they were last updated three years ago, so do not assume those prices, unlock requirements or stats still match the live game. Check the weapon details and progression in-game before spending credits or choosing based on an exact figure.

Is one class objectively better?
The available reference does not establish a current-meta winner. It is a community-maintained wiki, and its listed weapon pages are dated; no controlled comparison across modes, maps, player skill or current patches is established here. Treat the class descriptions and example numbers as a starting point, not proof of which weapon wins more often.
