1. Try the AMD graphics-card workaround
If your PC has an AMD graphics card, Six Days Support identifies -noraytracing as a possible workaround for crashing. The developer does not present it as a guaranteed fix or recommend it specifically for other GPU users.

- Right-click Six Days in Fallujah and choose Properties.
- On the General tab, find Launch Options.

-noraytracing, close the Properties window, and launch the game.
If the game still crashes, remove the launch option and continue with the checks below. The developer’s known-issues page gives the option as an AMD-card workaround.
2. Verify the game files in Steam
Missing or corrupted game files are one possible cause of crashes, according to Six Days Support. To check them, open Steam’s Library, right-click the game, select Properties, then Local Files and Verify integrity of game files. Wait for Steam to finish, then relaunch the game. 3. Compare your PC with the published minimum requirements
The dedicated Six Days Support requirements article, modified November 8, 2024, lists these specifications. Steam’s listing displayed the same requirements when accessed October 8, 2026. Steam also marks the game as Early Access, so its contents and requirements may change.

4. Restart Windows and reduce background conflicts
Restart the PC, then close nonessential programs before launching the game. Six Days Support names antivirus software, overlays, and recording software as examples of programs that may conflict. If you suspect one, disable it temporarily only when appropriate and safe to do so, then test again. Avoid leaving security software disabled as a routine workaround. 5. Update Windows and your graphics driver
Install available Windows updates and check for a current graphics driver from your GPU manufacturer. 6. Lower graphics settings
Try lower in-game graphics settings. If the crash continues, reduce the display resolution and lower anti-aliasing or shading. This is general troubleshooting advice to reduce system load, not evidence that a specific setting causes the crash. Six Days Support recommends lowering graphics settings.
7. Check ventilation, cooling, and connections
Make sure the PC has room for airflow and that its fans and cooling are functioning. Also check that relevant cables are firmly seated. The developer recommends these checks as general troubleshooting; they do not establish that overheating or a loose connection is the cause of a particular crash. 8. Document the crash and contact support
If the crash remains, submit a ticket through Six Days Support. Include your PC specifications, whether you use a wired or wireless connection, the steps that lead to the crash, and which checks you have tried. A clear sequence helps support understand what happens rather than only that the game closed.
