Prairie Peaks has three Children of Light: one beside a large crystal in Jolly Geologist’s cave, one at the highest mountain peak, and one at the top of the bird-filled hollow in the Nightbird Whisperer area. Reach the Peaks by boat from Prairie Caves in Daylight Prairie.
How to reach Prairie Peaks
- Go to Prairie Caves in Daylight Prairie and find the opening near the main cave entrance where a boat is waiting.
- Use the boat to travel to Prairie Peaks. The community guide says the opening is behind a Spirit Gate that requires reliving one regular Hidden Forest spirit.

1. Beside the crystal in Jolly Geologist’s cave
Look inside Jolly Geologist’s cave on the right side of Prairie Peaks. The Winged Light is beside the large crystal structure.
2. At the highest mountain peak
At the far end of Prairie Peaks, climb the area’s highest mountain and check its peak for the collectible.

3. At the top of the bird-filled hollow
Go to the Nightbird Whisperer sub-area on the left side of Prairie Peaks. Reach the very top of the hollow cave filled with birds.
Using the Sky Map as a cross-check
Thatgamecompany describes the map this way: “The Sky Map is the world map within Sky to help you uncover all the secrets the realms have to offer!” The official Sky Map help page says it can show missed Winged Lights, spirits, guides, quests, and your current location.

Since the January 6, 2026 version 32.0 update, the Sky Map can be opened anywhere with the map button at the top-right of the screen. Its yellow star shows the general area of an uncollected Winged Light, not the collectible’s exact position. Visit Map Shrines to reveal map areas before relying on it.
