When did Days of Color 2026 run?
The event ran May 29–June 18, 2026. The dates appeared in thatgamecompany’s May schedule, and its June update confirmed June 18 as the closing date. It is no longer active.
What could players do?
The event centered on selecting kite shapes and sending them aloft. Players were also invited to vote for their favorite kite and color before the event closed, as noted in the May schedule and June reminder.
How could players collect Event Tickets?
The official May schedule described two sources of tickets during the event:
- Daily participation: Up to five Event Tickets per day were available through participating in the event.
- One-time pickups: Fifteen additional Event Tickets were scattered around the event area.
The schedule does not specify exact pickup locations or ticket reset timing, so a precise route or reset hour cannot be established from the official text.
What was the charity component?
In its May 29 Days of Color announcement, thatgamecompany said half of each charity in-app purchase would support The Trevor Project’s mission to provide life-saving resources for vulnerable youth.
