Skyrim Creations is the in-game hub for browsing and downloading Mods, Creation Club items, and newer community content in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. Bethesda’s earlier Creation Club launched for Skyrim Special Edition in 2017; the Anniversary Edition later bundled Creation Club content released through November 11, 2021.
What are Skyrim Creations?
Creations is the unified in-game menu for Skyrim Special Edition content. It brings existing Mods, Creation Club items, and new Creations together, replacing the separate Mods and Creation Club entry points. Players can browse and download content from inside the game. Bethesda describes the change in its Creations update announcement.

The name can be confusing because Creation Club and Creations are not exactly interchangeable. Creation Club was Bethesda’s curated paid-content system; Creations is the current menu that includes that content alongside mods and newer community additions.
When did Creation Club launch for Skyrim?
Bethesda launched Creation Club for Skyrim Special Edition across platforms in 2017. Its catalog included content made by Bethesda Game Studios, outside development partners, and community creators. What does Skyrim Anniversary Edition include?
The Anniversary Upgrade includes Creation Club content released on or before November 11, 2021, including quests, dungeons, bosses, weapons, spells, and other additions. That cutoff is stated in the Xbox product listing. Steam also says Creations work with the main game, official add-ons, and the Anniversary Edition upgrade, and that Creation Credits can be used in Skyrim’s Creations menu (Steam listing).
The Anniversary Edition/Upgrade is a bundled way to get that defined catalog. With Special Edition alone, players can instead choose individual content in the Creations menu. Current prices and catalog availability vary and should be checked on the relevant platform store or in-game menu; no universal current catalog count or price list is established by the cited listings.

Both options involve content managed through the in-game Creations menu. As with other Skyrim mods, adding content can affect storage use and load order, so check each item’s requirements and compatibility notes before installing it. How to browse and install Creations
- Open The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition and choose the in-game Creations menu.
- Browse or search for the content you want. Review its description, requirements, and any compatibility notes before downloading.
- Download the item from the menu. For paid content, check the displayed cost and platform account requirements before confirming.
- Return to the game and check that the content is enabled and placed appropriately in your load order if the item or platform requires it.
Exact menu wording and purchase flows can differ by platform and may change with updates. Steam explains that Creation Credits are usable in Skyrim’s Creations menu, but the sources do not establish one universal price list or identical interface across platforms.

Can creators publish content through Bethesda?
Bethesda points prospective creators to upload instructions and the Bethesda Game Studios Verified Creator Program in its Creations update announcement. The announcement identifies that route for creators, but it does not establish current eligibility, payout terms, or availability for every region. Creators should consult Bethesda’s live program terms before relying on a commercial arrangement.
