It is reasonable to expect choosing between elemental attacks to be part of combat, since the listing presents Bathoryn’s powers as a combat feature. That does not prove that fire burns over time, ice slows enemies, or that particular foes are weak to one element. Treat such familiar genre conventions as possibilities only; the published descriptions do not confirm them. When the final game is available, its tutorials and enemy feedback should be the guide to whether an element is useful in a given encounter.
Can Akran turn into a werewolf?
Yes. The official listing says that under the full moon Akran can transform into a feral werewolf, fighting with claws, teeth and beastly power. This is an announced part of the game’s combat premise, separate from Bathoryn’s sword-based elemental abilities.
The listing does not explain how transformation is triggered in a particular encounter, how long it lasts, whether it consumes a resource, or whether the player can activate it at will. It also does not detail how the wolf form differs numerically from Akran’s regular attacks. A Steam developer update reports work refining movement, aligning movesets, adding abilities for Akran, tuning Bathoryn’s elemental powers and upgrading the Beast wolf form. That is evidence that these parts of the game have been in active development; it is not a final ability list. Moves and balance can change before release, so a definitive transformation guide would be premature.
What is the campaign and progression structure?
The PlayStation listing describes three hand-crafted quests. Each quest is said to have its own landscape, lore and enemies. The stated relic objectives are The Eye, The Heart and The Dagger. This is the progression structure the official description spells out: a campaign organized around three distinct quests and their relic objectives.
The description does not explain whether the relics are collected in a fixed order, whether a quest can be revisited, or whether completing one unlocks another. It also does not give quest lengths, map sizes, optional objectives or branching paths. Those are common questions for an action-game campaign, but none can be answered confidently from the announcement details.

The Steam developer update mentions adding abilities for Akran and refining his movesets, but that language describes development work. It does not confirm that players unlock abilities through experience, spend points in a skill tree, or choose a permanent character build. The distinction matters: a developer can add or tune abilities without the game having a player-facing progression menu.
Similarly, three relic objectives do not by themselves prove there is loot progression, and Bathoryn’s elemental powers do not establish a weapon-upgrade economy. Until a final feature list, manual or in-game system description explains otherwise, it is best to understand the announced progression as quest-based rather than assume a role-playing-game leveling loop.
What has been announced for PS5, and when does it release?
