There is no verified official Slayers 2 tier list, and community rankings disagree. For a practical choice, judge Breathing Styles and Demon Arts separately for PvE and PvP: boss damage and clearing matter in PvE, while control, mobility, and reliable openings matter more against players. The rankings below are an editorial guide, not measured damage or win-rate data, and reflect information available as of October 5, 2026.
How to read this Slayers 2 tier list
Project Slayers 2 Wiki says its ranking is unofficial and that Ouw Productions has not published an official table (Project Slayers 2 Tier List). Other community lists also identify their placements as opinions, rather than developer balance data. Treat any tier placement as a reasoned snapshot, not a guarantee that an ability will outperform another in every build or matchup.
The source material does not provide comparable damage tests, win rates, usage shares, or a complete mode-by-mode dataset for every ability. Rather than imply that unmeasured numbers exist, the tables use qualitative tiers and explain the decision behind each placement. PvE and PvP are separated because clearing groups and surviving boss attacks call for different strengths than landing moves on another player.
What the tiers mean
- S: A strong first choice for the mode when you can use its strengths consistently.
- A: A capable choice with useful strengths, but more dependent on matchup, build, or execution.
- B: Situational or harder to recommend without a specific preference or setup.
These are editorial categories, not game ratings or statistically measured placements. Clan or weapon requirements, ease of use, and player execution can change how useful a style feels.

Breathing Style tier list for PvE and PvP
One community-maintained overall list puts Thunder and Snake among its top Breathing Styles, while a separate launch-week creator-based list also rates Thunder and Serpent highly. The sources do not agree on every other style, including Water, and do not establish comparable PvE and PvP performance. The mode-specific placements below therefore emphasize what each mode rewards rather than presenting an unsupported universal order.
| Breathing Style | PvE tier | PvP tier | Why it lands here |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thunder | S | S | It is a consistent top pick in the cited community rankings. That supports a strong overall recommendation, but not a measured claim that it leads every boss or matchup. |
| Snake / Serpent | A | S | It appears near the top of community rankings. Its high overall standing makes it a strong candidate, especially if its moves suit your approach; the available sources do not quantify mode-specific results. |
| Water | A | A | Community opinions differ about its placement. Consider it a viable option rather than assuming the disagreement establishes a weakness in either mode. |
| Other Breathing Styles | B | B | The cited material does not establish a reliable, comparable case-by-case ranking for the remaining styles in both modes. Choose based on your preferred moves and build, and check current player or official update information before investing around a narrow ranking. |
Snake and Serpent are variant labels used across the community lists; the available material does not establish whether that wording reflects different in-game abilities. Confirm the exact style name in your game before comparing or pursuing it.

Why PvE and PvP should not share one score
For PvE, prioritize dependable damage against bosses, group clearing, ability uptime, safety during enemy telegraphs, and how much setup a rotation needs. In PvP, prioritize mobility, starting or escaping an engagement, guard breaks or punish opportunities, control, range, and how reliably a move connects against a moving opponent. A style can be strong overall without being the best fit for both activities.
Demon Art tier list for PvE and PvP
A community-maintained overall ranking favors Blood and Ice at the top of its Demon Art list, but it does not supply measured outcomes by mode. A separate fan guide describes the standard arts by broad roles: Shockwave for area damage and disruption, Ice Manipulation for freeze and slow control, Dream Manipulation for control and debuffs, Tamari as a distinct option, and Explosive Blood for burst damage. These are qualitative guide descriptions, not verified performance tests.
Rank #3
- Take Up the Sword Once Again - Play as Tanjiro Kamado and face off against evil demons in key moments from the “Entertainment District Arc,” “Swordsmith Village Arc,” and “Hashira Training Arc” with breathtaking visuals and combat.
- The Hashira Unite - A host of new arrivals added to the roster, with over 40 playable characters to choose from including the nine Hashira, the highest rank of the Demon Slayer Corps.
- More Ways to Play - Expanded Single Player content allows you to relive the story in a brand-new way.
| Demon Art | PvE tier | PvP tier | Role and ranking rationale |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blood | S | A | It ranks at the top of one community overall list. The available sources do not specify enough of its mode-by-mode performance to claim it is best for every boss or player matchup. |
| Ice Manipulation | S | S | It is a top pick in one community ranking, and a fan guide identifies freeze and slow control as its role. Control can be useful in either mode, though the sources provide no measured results. |
| Shockwave | A | A | A fan guide characterizes it as area damage and disruption. Those traits make it a plausible general-purpose option, but do not establish its damage or reliability against bosses or players. |
| Dream Manipulation | A | A | A fan guide describes it as control and debuff focused. Its value depends on whether that control fits the encounter; no comparative test data is available. |
| Explosive Blood | A | A | A fan guide describes it as burst-oriented. Burst can suit damage windows or punish opportunities, but that role alone does not prove a top placement. |
| Tamari | B | B | The cited guide lists Tamari among standard Demon Arts but does not provide enough comparative detail to rank it above the other named options. |
Evil Arts are a separate category in the cited guide
The Slayers 2 Wiki guide labels Reaper and Arrow as Evil Arts, separate from the standard Demon Arts. They are not folded into the table above because doing so would blur the guide’s own category distinction; the available material does not support reliable PvE and PvP placements for either one. See the guide’s Demon Arts overview for its terminology and role descriptions.
How to choose for your build
- Choose your main mode. If you spend most of your time on bosses and group content, favor repeatable damage, safe uptime, and area coverage. If you mainly fight players, favor moves that create openings, control space, or help you disengage.
- Check the full setup. A ranking may change in practice if your clan or weapon supports one style, or if a move’s execution does not suit you. The Project Slayers 2 Wiki says its own list considers ease of use and dependence on a specific clan or weapon.
- Prefer reliable use over a paper placement. A high-ranked option is not automatically the right pick if you struggle to land its moves or cannot use its strengths consistently.
- Recheck after balance updates. One creator-based list says a launch balance patch had already changed its rankings. For later changes, check the game’s official Roblox page or Discord; the community-maintained links page reports no public developer Trello board.
How current are these rankings?
This is a dated editorial snapshot based on community material available October 5, 2026. The creator-based list was updated September 20, 2026, but its rankings are still explicitly opinion-based. Because balance changes can alter the value of a move, verify current details through the community-maintained official links page, then follow its links to the game’s official channels. No win-rate, damage, or usage statistic is established by the sources cited here, so none should be inferred from a tier label.
