Solo Leveling: ARISE launched globally on May 8, 2024, for Android, iOS and PC. Netmarble revealed that international release date on April 17, 2024.
When did Solo Leveling: ARISE release globally?
The global release date was May 8, 2024. Netmarble announced the date on April 17, then confirmed the worldwide launch in a May 8 announcement. The game was available to download through Google Play, the App Store and PC platforms. Netmarble’s April 17 announcement and May 8 launch announcement establish the reveal and launch as separate dates.
Why do some dates appear earlier?
The March 21 date was for a limited early-access phase in Canada, not the global launch. Netmarble said that phase would start at 1:00 a.m. Pacific Time and be limited to Android and PC. Its March 19 preregistration announcement also noted that language support would expand at launch.
In other words, March 21 refers to Canada early access, April 17 to the date announcement, and May 8 to the international release.

Which platforms launched on May 8?
Netmarble’s global-launch notice names Android, iOS and PC. It also said the game was coming to Steam; that wording does not establish that Steam access was available on May 8, so the initial global platform list should not be treated as confirmation of a Steam launch that day.

Netmarble describes Solo Leveling: ARISE as an action-game adaptation of the Solo Leveling Webtoon. Players take the role of Sung Jinwoo and combine skills and weapons in dynamic battles. The publisher reported more than 12 million preregistrations in less than a month in its April 17 date announcement, then over 15 million preregistered players in its May 8 launch announcement.
In a May 29, 2024 update announcement, Netmarble also reported more than 5 million daily active users on the first day of release. These are publisher-reported figures, not independently verified measurements. Netmarble’s May 29 update announcement gives that later launch figure.
