Solo Leveling: ARISE’s 20-million-download milestone and its 100th-day anniversary update were separate 2024 announcements: Netmarble reported the download figure in May, then detailed the anniversary update in August. The figure is a historical publisher report, not a current download total.
When did Netmarble report 20 million downloads?
Netmarble said on May 29, 2024, that Solo Leveling: ARISE had surpassed 20 million downloads worldwide. The publisher also reported 15 million pre-registrations and more than 5 million daily active users at launch, describing the latter as a first-day record for the company. These are figures Netmarble reported at the time, not independently audited totals or a measure of the game’s current audience. Netmarble’s announcement appeared in its newsroom on May 31, 2024.
What did the 100th-day anniversary update add?
Netmarble announced the update on August 22, 2024; its newsroom page is dated August 23. The headline additions were new playable Hunters and the game’s guild system. The announcement described these as content in that update, not as a guide to what is available in the current version.
New Hunters
- Han Se-Mi: A wind-type SSR healer became playable with the update.
- Go Gunhee: The light-type SSR tank was announced as recruitable starting August 28, 2024.
Guilds and other additions
The new guild system included guild bosses, minigames, and a Guild Exchange Shop. Netmarble also listed additional Sung Jinwoo progression and weapons, swimsuit costumes, more Reverse Story Mode chapters, the Sonic Stream skill, Blessing Stones, and Battlefield of Trials floors 51–60. These details reflect the August 2024 announcement; they do not establish the present-day contents or availability of any feature.
