Choose by the kind of driving you want
Open-world and mainstream racing
Forza Horizon 5 and The Crew Motorfest are the open-world options in these sale examples. Need for Speed Unbound is another mainstream racing pick, reported at $6.99 in the US store snapshot. A steep discount makes it inexpensive at that listed price, but does not establish that it is the best fit for every player.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Stock cars and circuit racing
NASCAR 25 is the stock-car-specific choice in the list. The Daily Downforce also reports discounts on its Gold Edition, season pass and some individual DLC packs, but the roundup does not establish their exact prices or contents. For circuit-oriented simulation, compare Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Automobilista 2 and rFactor 2 by the current base-game and edition listings rather than assuming that one sale price covers all add-ons.
Rally, contact racing and vehicle simulation
DiRT Rally 2.0 and EA Sports WRC 24 are rally options. Wreckfest is the contact-heavy choice, while BeamNG.drive is a vehicle and driving simulation rather than simply another conventional race entry. Their prices alone do not indicate how closely their driving styles match your preferences.

Truck driving
American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 are driving games built around trucking, not circuit or arcade racing. Both were listed at $4.99 in the US sale examples. They suit a different mood from a short competitive race, so compare the activity you want before treating the lowest price as the best deal.
Compare the edition and what you will actually use
A sale price usually refers to a particular store listing. Before checkout, confirm whether you are looking at the base game or a bundle, and check the listed contents of any edition or DLC you are considering. NASCAR 25’s additional discounted editions and add-ons are reported, but their exact sale prices are not established here. BoxThisLap lists both DiRT Rally 2.0 and its Game of the Year Edition at separate reported prices; do not assume the edition is worth the difference without checking its included content.

If you plan to use a racing wheel, make that a compatibility check for the particular game and hardware before purchase. The sale roundups do not validate any wheel model or establish compatibility, so do not infer support from a game’s simulation label alone.
Why the biggest discount is not automatically the best value
A percentage off measures the reduction from a store’s reference price, not gameplay quality, suitability or how much content you will use. The list ranges from open-world racing to rally, simulation-focused circuit driving and trucking; decide which of those you actually want, then compare the current regional price and edition scope. For broader context, PC Gamer reported on October 1, 2026, that SteamDB counted 44,048 games available for less than $5 across Steam—not 44,048 racing games—and cautioned that a low price alone does not guarantee a top-tier game. PC Gamer’s report puts the appeal of a bargain in perspective.

Check the sale before it ends
The 2026 Autumn Sale is reported to end October 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Treat that as the reported schedule, not a promise that a particular game or price will remain available until then.
