Three of the four Magic: The Gathering Warhammer 40,000 Commander decks may be available for stores to order again, according to a report relaying what local game stores told a YouTuber. That is an unconfirmed rumor, not a confirmed reprint: the creator reportedly had not seen distributor order forms, no arrival date was given, and Wizards of the Coast had not announced a reprint.
What the reprint rumor actually says
A report published by The Daily Game News on October 6, 2026, says Magic YouTuber Joel Are Magic heard from local game stores that they could order new stock of three Warhammer 40,000 Commander decks through multiple distributors.
The sourcing is indirect. The report says Joel had not seen the distributor order forms himself, so the account does not establish that orders are open or that stock is definitely on the way. It also gives no expected arrival date. The report says Wizards of the Coast had not officially announced a reprint.
Which decks, and why they are in the story
The claim concerns three of the four preconstructed Commander decks released as part of the Warhammer 40,000 collaboration. A recent list reportedly included three of the four among the most expensive Commander decks, with limited availability and an apparently absent reprint run cited as reasons. The available reporting does not identify a verified ranking, current prices, or which individual decks lead that list.

An October 3, 2026 aggregator listing points to a BGR article with a headline about the decks’ high prices, but the listing does not expose the full article or establish its price methodology. No dependable, dated price table is available in the cited material, so specific dollar figures would be misleading.
Why this is still only a rumor
- Secondhand sourcing: the report relays what store owners reportedly told Joel Are Magic; he had not reviewed the order forms.
- No timing: the account does not say when any stock might arrive.
- No official confirmation: the report says Wizards had not announced a reprint.
- Community discussion is not confirmation: an October 5, 2026 Reddit discussion attributes the rumor to the same creator, rather than providing independent evidence.
In other words, the report supports that a distributor-order claim is circulating. It does not confirm a production decision, an active ordering window, or a guaranteed restock.

Should you buy now or wait?
There is no confirmed restock date or price comparison in the available reporting, so the choice depends on what you can verify today and how willing you are to wait. A rumor does not guarantee that prices will fall, and buying now means judging the actual seller, condition, and price in front of you rather than a promised future supply.
- If you want a deck now: check current retailer listings and local game stores directly, and decide based on a price you are comfortable paying. The rumor alone does not establish that waiting will produce a cheaper option.
- If you can wait: look for an official Wizards announcement or a retailer/distributor confirmation with a real order window or arrival estimate. Until then, treat any claimed restock date as unverified.
Because availability and listings can change quickly, confirm stock and price with the seller before making a purchase.
