Sony’s 2023 PlayStation Store Holiday Sale launched on December 20 and ended on January 17, 2024. Its advertised discounts are historical and are no longer a guide to current prices or availability. Sony announced the sale on December 22, two days after launch.
What was included in the 2023 Holiday Sale?
Sony said the promotion covered digital games and downloadable content on PlayStation Store. Its announcement highlighted these offers:

These are examples from Sony Interactive Entertainment’s 2023 announcement, not a complete list of participating games or current prices. The announcement did not establish the final price for each example.
When did the sale start and end?
Sony reported that the promotion launched Wednesday, December 20, 2023. It was scheduled to end Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. PST/GMT/JST/Asia local time. Sony cautioned that some titles could leave the promotion earlier, so the individual Store listing was the place to check an offer’s end time.

Did discounts vary by region?
Yes. Sony explicitly said both the game list and discount percentage could differ by region, and directed customers to their regional PlayStation Store page for details. A listed percentage therefore should not be assumed to apply to every country or account region.

In the December 22, 2023 announcement, Anthony Flynn, Group Manager, Global Digital Games Marketing, described it as “the biggest sale event of the year” and said it offered discounts across many digital games and DLC for a limited time. That was Sony’s characterization of the 2023 event, not a statement about current PlayStation Store offers.
