Developed by Reply Game Studios, Soulstice is a dark fantasy action game about sisters Briar and Lute. Their bond is not just a story premise: the game builds its action around their complementary abilities. How does the combat work?
Briar attacks; Lute changes the fight
Briar fights with weapons, while Lute contributes supernatural powers and auras. The official descriptions also say players can switch weapons during combos. That setup gives the game its clearest point of difference: combat asks you to think of the sisters as a linked pair rather than treating Lute as merely a story companion. Steam listing Xbox Store
The trade-off: a strong idea, limited combo range
Meristation’s Spanish-language launch-week review praised the dual-character concept but judged the combo possibilities limited, with combat sometimes returning to similar movements. That is the review’s assessment, not a universal verdict; it does, however, identify the key question for prospective players. If you value an unusual combat premise and a brisk hack-and-slash structure more than a very broad combo sandbox, the design may suit you. If experimentation and long strings of varied combos are your priority, the reported limitation matters.

Does the presentation make it worth playing?
Meristation praised the game’s gothic visual presentation and music, finding its dark fantasy tone a notable strength. The same review framed Soulstice as a return to a more classic hack-and-slash structure and estimated a playthrough at close to 20 hours. What platforms is Soulstice on?
The game launched for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. PlayStation Store also lists a digital entitlement for PS4 and PS5. Can your PC run Soulstice?
Steam’s listed requirements are for Windows PC. The minimum configuration calls for a 64-bit Windows 10 system, 8 GB RAM, a GTX 1060 or RX 5500 XT graphics card with at least 6 GB of memory, DirectX 12 and 30 GB of storage. The recommended configuration raises memory to 12 GB and graphics to a GTX 1080 or RX 5600 XT. Steam lists a Core i7 4770K at minimum and a Core i7 4770K or Ryzen 5 2600 as recommended processors. What comes in the Deluxe Edition?
The publisher’s September 2022 announcement described a physical Deluxe Edition containing a digital soundtrack of 13 tracks, a digital artbook of more than 70 pages and the Ashen Blade Item Pack. The artbook and soundtrack were digital inclusions, not physical books or discs. Content and performance notes
Steam’s mature-content note mentions violence, blood and gore, and nudity in some cutscenes. Meristation also reported severe Steam Deck slowdowns at launch.
