Stage Tour é o novo Guitar Hero?
Não. Stage Tour é uma nova propriedade da RedOctane Games, não uma continuação ou título oficial da franquia Guitar Hero. A relação está na experiência de parte da equipe: a empresa diz ter sido fundada por veteranos de Guitar Hero e DJ Hero, especialistas em hardware e integrantes da comunidade de jogos rítmicos. O anúncio de fevereiro de 2026 apresentou o jogo como o primeiro título do estúdio.
Em junho de 2026, a RedOctane identificou Eidos-Montréal e Third Kind Games como parceiros de co-desenvolvimento e disse que a equipe também inclui colaboradores de Guitar Hero e DJ Hero e integrantes importantes do núcleo de desenvolvimento de YARG, um jogo rítmico comunitário. Isso não significa que todo o time original de Guitar Hero esteja envolvido. O comunicado do IGN Live atribui ao chefe de estúdio Simon Ebejer a descrição da equipe como uma combinação de desenvolvedores comunitários, criadores, jogadores e veteranos do gênero.

Como se joga: instrumentos, modos e campanha
Stage Tour combina a execução de notas no ritmo da música com diferentes instrumentos e configurações. Os instrumentos anunciados incluem guitarra principal, guitarra de ritmo ou baixo, bateria e vocais; no PC também há suporte anunciado para teclado, e teclado ou gamepad podem ser usados como alternativas à guitarra. Estão previstos modos de quatro e cinco pistas.

Posso usar uma guitarra antiga de Guitar Hero ou Rock Band?
A FAQ oficial afirma que controles modernos como guitarras CRKD, Riffmaster e instrumentos Rock Band 4 funcionarão nativamente nas plataformas que cada dispositivo suporta.
