What kind of racing game is it?
Amazon describes Star Wars: Galactic Racer as a runs-based racing adventure set in the Galactic League, an underground, unsanctioned circuit in the early New Republic era. Players control Shade, a racer pursuing glory and revenge. The design combines racing with decisions about routes, events, vehicle upgrades, and how to build a racing setup.
Vehicles and modes
The launch overview names four vehicle types: landspeeders, speeder bikes, skim speeders, and podracers. Amazon says each class handles differently, and that podracers compete only against other podracers because of their speed.
