Launch-day reporting says Prime members can play its single-player Campaign, Arcade, and Scenario modes through Amazon Luna, but the offer’s availability and terms are not independently confirmed by Amazon or Lucasfilm. The report also says online racing requires buying the game.
What Star Wars game is on Amazon Prime?
The game is Star Wars: Galactic Racer, developed by Fuse Games in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. A launch-day article reproduced by KhanList and attributed to Polygon reported that Prime members could stream the game through Amazon Luna. The report describes access to Campaign, Arcade, and Scenario modes; it says online racing requires purchasing the game. Read the reproduced launch-day report.
That distinction matters: this is not confirmation that a Prime subscription includes the full game or all of its modes. Lucasfilm’s official launch and game pages confirm the game and its modes, but the official sources reviewed do not confirm the Luna offer. Before relying on it, check Amazon Luna’s current service page for your country, Prime eligibility, and the modes currently available.
What is Star Wars: Galactic Racer?
Lucasfilm describes Galactic Racer as a high-stakes racing adventure set in the Galactic League. You race as Shade, choose events, select among classes of repulsorcraft, and make build or upgrade choices. Official coverage identifies Campaign, Scenario, and Arcade modes, as well as competitive multiplayer.

What does the reported Prime access include?
The KhanList reproduction of the Polygon report says Prime members can play the single-player modes—Campaign, Arcade, and Scenario—through Luna, while online racing requires a purchase. Treat those details as reported terms, not a guarantee of what is available to every subscriber: no official Amazon confirmation of the offer, eligible regions, or exact included modes was identified.

If you are considering the Luna route, verify these details directly with Amazon before subscribing or deciding not to buy:
- Whether Luna and this game are available in your country.
- Whether your Prime membership qualifies for the reported access.
- Which modes are currently included.
- Whether online multiplayer remains purchase-only.
Should you use Luna or buy the game?
The right route depends on where you play and whether you want online racing. Luna may suit someone who only wants the reported single-player modes and can confirm access in their region. Buying is the clearer choice if you want the full game or competitive multiplayer, or if Luna access does not appear for your account.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why is it being called the best Star Wars game of the year?
That wording is a review judgment, not an official award or an objective ranking. The reproduced Polygon review calls Galactic Racer “the best arcade racing game in a generation,” but that assessment should be read as the reviewer’s opinion. The same reproduced article attributes an 88 Metascore to Metacritic; that figure was not independently verified here, so it is best not treated as a current or definitive rating.
