Biddy Blas, a new alien character in Star Wars: Galactic Racer, drew launch-period fan attention for his voice and his bad-sport behavior. But the available reporting does not show a producer responding after he went viral: the quoted comment came from Fuse Games narrative director Nathaniel Daw, speaking to GamesRadar+ at Gamescom 2026.
Who is Biddy Blas?
Biddy Blas is an original character created for Star Wars: Galactic Racer, not a returning figure from earlier Star Wars stories, according to GamesRadar+. He speaks Huttese, and the outlet reports that he can sabotage a rival’s vehicle during gameplay.

A review describes an encounter with a rigged part and Blas laughing over the radio. That gives his mischievous reputation a gameplay hook: he is not just an unusual face in the roster, but a character who can make a race more personal.

GamesRadar+ reported that fan posts called Blas a favorite and praised his voice after launch. That establishes online attention, but does not quantify how widespread it was. The outlet also identifies Richard Summers-Calvert as Blas’s voice performer.

“Glup Shitto” is fan slang for an obscure, named Star Wars character, not an official Lucasfilm term. Gamereactor used the phrase in its coverage of the game’s mix of familiar and new racers. Its August 2026 interview with game director Matt Webster included his admission: “I had to look this up some weeks ago.”
What did the narrative director say about Biddy?
Nathaniel Daw, identified as Fuse Games’ narrative director, described Blas to GamesRadar+ at Gamescom 2026 as “a short, angry little alien who just gets really angry all the time. He’s a bad loser and he’s a worse winner.” The quote fits the in-game account of a racer who can sabotage a rival and taunt them over the radio.

Did a producer respond after Biddy went viral?
The available reporting does not establish that a producer made a new statement in response to the online reaction. The documented comment is Daw’s Gamescom interview, and his role is narrative director—not producer. Separately, Gamereactor identifies Matt Webster as the game director; his August 2026 interview is pre-launch context, not a response to the later fan posts.
