The Star Wars Jedi: Survivor review embargo lifted on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). That was 11:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), 15:00 UTC, and 4:00 p.m. British Summer Time (BST).
When did the review embargo end?
Reviewers could publish their Star Wars Jedi: Survivor reviews from 8:00 a.m. PDT on April 26, 2023. MP1st reported that Pacific time as the embargo anchor, and reviews appeared that day. MP1st’s embargo report also printed “5 am ET” and “5 pm HKT,” but those conversions do not match 8:00 a.m. PDT. Contemporary coverage and the time-zone offsets for that date support 11:00 a.m. EDT, 15:00 UTC, and 4:00 p.m. BST instead. Metacritic’s critic listing and GameSpot’s dated review corroborate that reviews were published on April 26.

How the embargo fit the release schedule
The review embargo was separate from the gameplay-streaming embargo: MP1st reported that the latter lifted on April 27, 2023. EA announced the global launch for April 28, two calendar days after reviews could be published. EA’s release-date announcement gives the launch date; StarWars.com’s April 28 announcement confirms the game was then available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Which platforms were available at launch?
The original April 28, 2023 launch covered PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. PS4 and Xbox One editions came later: EA says they became available on September 17, 2024. EA’s FAQ documents the later editions, and PlayStation’s game page lists the PS5 and PS4 versions.
