What each Star Wars Outlaws edition includes
| Edition | Included content | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | Base game. Ubisoft’s consulted US catalog entry does not itemize additional contents. Ubisoft product and catalog pages | Players who want the main game without the Season Pass or Ultimate extras. |
| Gold | Base game and Season Pass. Ubisoft’s official product page | Players who want the included story packs and Season Pass cosmetics. |
| Ultimate | Base game, Season Pass, four cosmetic bundles, and a digital art book. Ubisoft’s official product page | Players who also want the cosmetic bundles and digital art book. |
Ubisoft describes Gold and Ultimate as including the Season Pass, additional cosmetics for Kay and Nix, and a digital art book. The catalog’s Ultimate listing specifies four cosmetic bundles; the Standard listing does not itemize bonus content, so don’t assume it includes add-ons or preorder items.

What the Season Pass adds
The Season Pass contents listed by Ubisoft are:
- Wild Card, a story pack centered on a Sabacc tournament involving Lando Calrissian.
- A Pirate’s Fortune, a story pack following Kay and Nix into the Khepi system with Hondo Ohnaka and the Rokana Raiders.
- Jabba’s Gambit, a bonus mission described as Day 1 exclusive.
- Kessel Runner, a character pack.
- Hunter’s Legacy and Cartel Ronin, cosmetic bundles.
The two story packs add narrative content; the other Season Pass items are a mission, character pack, and cosmetics. Ubisoft’s Switch 2 announcement says Wild Card requires completing specified base-game quests, while A Pirate’s Fortune requires completing the main storyline. How to choose between Gold and Ultimate
Choose Gold for the Season Pass
Gold is the step up from Standard if you want the included story packs and Season Pass items. The pass is the main difference that matters for players seeking additional game content.

Choose Ultimate for its extra cosmetics and art book
Ultimate includes the Gold content plus four cosmetic bundles and a digital art book. Those extras are the reason to pay for Ultimate over Gold; the cited listing does not identify them as additional story expansions.
Choose Standard if you only want the base game
Standard is the base-game tier. If you are not looking for the Season Pass or Ultimate’s cosmetic and art-book extras, it is the straightforward option.

Check your platform’s listing before buying
Edition names and package contents should be checked against the store listing for your platform. Ubisoft’s US catalog lists Standard, Gold, Ultimate, and a separate Deluxe Edition; Deluxe is shown with a January 7, 2025 release date. Ubisoft’s September 4, 2025 Switch 2 announcement says a Switch 2 purchase includes the base game and Season Pass. Do not assume the Switch 2 offer uses the same edition menu or contents as another platform’s storefront.
Compare the actual included items shown on the platform store page, especially if you are buying an edition other than Standard, Gold, or Ultimate. Ubisoft’s catalog also lists separate DLC entries, so edition names alone may not tell you whether an item is already owned or sold separately. Ubisoft US catalog Ubisoft announcement and updates
