In Starfield, Alpha Centauri’s main landing hub is Jemison, home to New Atlantis, the United Colonies capital. The system also includes Gagarin Landing on Gagarin and The Eye, a station in orbit around Jemison. Use the Starmap to inspect planets, check available planetary information and select discovered destinations for travel; the official pages reviewed do not list every planet and moon in the system.
Where is New Atlantis in Starfield?
New Atlantis is a city on Jemison in the Alpha Centauri system. Bethesda identifies it as the United Colonies capital and describes it as a hub for services, faction activity and missions. Its districts are the Spaceport, Commercial, MAST/Embassy and Residential districts, along with The Well.

- Spaceport: Ship services and mission-board terminals.
- Commercial District: Vendors and other city services.
- MAST/Embassy District: United Colonies institutions and faction access.
- Residential District and The Well: Residential areas and additional services, including medical assistance.
Bethesda’s New Atlantis location guide lists the city’s districts and services. The United Colonies mission-board guide places the UC mission board in New Atlantis.

Gagarin Landing on Gagarin
Gagarin Landing is another documented settlement in the system. Bethesda’s Gagarin Landing guide identifies it as a city on Gagarin. The guide also lists ship-manufacturer vendors in Gagarin Landing and New Atlantis; consult it for the locations Bethesda documents rather than assuming the list covers every service in either city.

The Eye in Jemison orbit
The Eye is not a planetary surface settlement: it is a station in orbit around Jemison. It also serves as a quest destination. For directions or required actions tied to a specific mission, use the relevant quest guide; the station’s orbit and quest role are noted in Bethesda’s Eye location information and quest guidance.
How to use the Starmap to find destinations and resources
The Starmap provides different information at the system and planet levels. Its system view shows planets and moons, a recommended level and faction control. Selecting a planet opens Planet View, where you can check environmental information, scan and discover landing sites. Bethesda explains these map functions in its Starmap guide.

- Open the Starmap and select Alpha Centauri to see its system view.
- Choose a planet or moon to open Planet View and review the information available there.
- Scan the planet and look for landing sites as you explore. Use the in-game view for the current resource and level details; the support pages do not enumerate every body or resource in Alpha Centauri.
- Select a discovered planet or location to travel to it when available. Bethesda’s fast-travel guidance explains travel to discovered planets.
What to know before landing on Jemison
Jemison is under faction protection, so contraband may be checked before you land. Bethesda describes this possibility in its contraband and landing guidance. Treat the inspection as a travel consideration when choosing to approach Jemison, particularly if you are carrying contraband.

- For city services and UC activity: Set a course for New Atlantis on Jemison.
- For another surface settlement: Look for Gagarin Landing on Gagarin.
- For an orbital quest location: Check quest directions for The Eye around Jemison; it is a station, not a landing site.
- For other planets, moons or resource information: Inspect Alpha Centauri in the Starmap and use Planet View. The cited support pages do not provide a complete system catalogue.
