Bethesda announced on November 19, 2024, that more than 15 million people had played Starfield, and marked the milestone with the free Deimog Creation. Bethesda describes the Deimog as a fast, rugged-terrain vehicle with an enclosed cabin and rocket launcher—not as an armored vehicle.
What is the Deimog in Starfield?
The Deimog is a digital vehicle Creation for Starfield, Bethesda’s term for downloadable game content available through its Creations service. Bethesda introduced it as a gift for the player milestone, describing it as built for speed and endurance, with a fully enclosed cabin, handling for rugged landscapes, and a rocket launcher. How do I get the Deimog in Starfield?
Bethesda said players could get the Deimog for free through the in-game Creations menu or from Bethesda’s Creations website. It is digital game content, not a physical vehicle sold to players.
How many people play Starfield?
Bethesda said on November 19, 2024, that Starfield had passed 15 million players, thanking “the over 15 million players who are adventuring through the stars in Starfield!” That is Bethesda’s cumulative player milestone as reported by the company; its announcement does not provide an independent count, measurement method, or concurrent-player figure. It should not be read as a current 2026 player count.

What else was in the November 2024 update?
The update also included performance and stability improvements for all platforms, restored the uncapped frame-rate option on Xbox Series X, and added an option for Verified Creator Creations to be achievement-friendly. Bethesda cautioned that achievements would not unlock retroactively on existing saves that had Creations, even if a Creation later became achievement-friendly. Bethesda’s update notes describe these changes.
