It is reported to have 1.38 G gravity, an average magnetosphere, one moon, and no flora or fauna. Its resource lists conflict, so check the planet’s orbital scan in your own game before relying on a fixed inventory.
Where to find Sirius II
Open the starmap and travel to the Sirius system; Sirius II is one of its planets. These are fictional in-game locations and attributes, not real astronomical data about the Sirius star system. The Starfield Portal Sirius II entry and Game8’s planet guide identify it in that system.

Resources: verify the list in-game
Starfield Portal’s entry contains a discrepancy: its overview says Sirius II provides eight resources, but its visible resource list names only Water, Iridium, and Chlorosilanes. Because the page does not reconcile those claims, the three listed materials should not be treated as a confirmed complete inventory, and an eight-item list cannot be established from it.
Use the orbital scan in your game to check which basic resources are currently shown for Sirius II. The Xbox Wire planet-hopping guide explains that orbital scans reveal basic resources and environmental information, and that resource locations can help with landing-site selection. Surface scanning can then help you locate materials. This general exploration guidance does not independently verify Sirius II’s specific resource inventory.

Planet trait: Crystalline Crust
Game8 reports the Crystalline Crust trait for Sirius II. To discover it, scan a Crystalline Nucleation Nodule in a Crystalline Matrix. The trait is separate from a resource list: discovering it requires identifying the specified geological feature, not merely completing an orbital scan.
How to survey Sirius II
- Scan Sirius II from orbit. Select the planet on the starmap and complete its orbital scan. Xbox Wire describes the starmap as showing details such as planet name and location, type, gravity, temperature, atmosphere, and whether flora or fauna are present.
- Check the resource display and choose a landing area. Use the orbital scan’s resource information to guide your landing choice, then use your surface scanner to look for materials and points of interest.
- Scan the trait feature. Search for a Crystalline Matrix and scan a Crystalline Nucleation Nodule to discover the Crystalline Crust trait, as described by Game8.
- Complete the available survey targets. Sirius II is reported to have no flora or fauna, so those categories are not reported as targets there. Survey any remaining categories shown by the game, including inorganic resources and the planet trait.
Xbox Wire notes that species can occupy different biomes, so on planets with scanable flora or fauna, a completed biome may require moving to another biome to continue. That general guidance is not a claim that Sirius II has species to find.

- LOCK AND LOAD - Space can be a dangerous place. A refined combat system gives you the tools to deal with any situation. Whether you prefer long-range rifles, laser weapons, or demolitions, each weapon type can be modified to complement your playstyle. Zero G environments add a chaotic spectacle to combat, while boost packs give players freedom to maneuver like never before.
Points of interest and survey data
Generic points of interest can be procedurally generated and differ between playthroughs, according to Game8. Do not assume every player will see the same generic sites; this differs from a unique, named location. Xbox Wire also says fully surveyed planets can yield survey data that players may sell later in the game. It does not give a Sirius II-specific payout, so no particular reward amount is established here.
